He will always be my favourite character of tvd. He is my favourite psycho. Kai didn't deserve to be treat in that way that his family did, like a piece of trash. He also had feelings, he shows us that not everything is lost, that people can change the way that he did. He changed, but no one forgive him. He has feelings too 😭

Everyone treated him like a trash and he proved them right because it is his only way of expressing himself. He tried to change himself for the better with the help of Luke's personalities but no one ever tried to believe him without an exchange. And they just killed him not giving him another chance, not even knowing his real story, not even believing that he could change. Yes this is a pretty long message. PLEASE BRING HIM BACK, WRITERS PLEASE. Seriously missing our one and only sociopath, Malachai Parker. Still do love the show though.

This video literally made me cry😭 it’s so beautiful but heartbreaking at the same time. He didn’t deserve any of the shit people threw at him, all he deserved was happiness, I was so upset at how his story ended, it was too abrupt and I want to see more of him. Truly my favourite Character ever 😭

I still think that if bonnie just gave him one chance ... when you think about it he never wanted to hurt her hejust wanted to escape from that prison world and bonnie didn't let him i mean she had no reason so when you are stuck ALONE for 18 years trust me u would go a bit insane and do anything to ESCAPE i still dont understand why bonnie was really annoying about not letting him go in the end he went and she stayed alone and then she blamed him for hurting her and shit she kinda deserved it and i really think she had to forgive him because he didn't want to hurt her in the first place

I think secretly everyone loved kai, not for his humor or charm but for his backstory and his childhood. He was completely neglected because he was "weird" a "abomination" a "siphon" Not a perfect little witch. Yes, he has done some unforgivable and horrible things in his life that nobody can make excuses for. I think his behavior can be partially justified by the isolation and abandonment of his life. That made him his "sociopath" self, then him being a sociopath and killer made decisions for him. He does have a glimmer of humanity and emotion in him. The world just shut him off before he could express them. And at such a young age that haunted him. I do really feel sympathy and passion towards kai and think he deserved better, maybe just a bit of redemption like every other tvd villain. 😕❤️

Serious question: do you think Kai was isolated by his family or did he isolate himself? Jo said he isolated himself because he felt like he was a freak for not being born with his own magic. But I actually believe Kai when he says his family isolated him. Then again, there are family photos where he seemed to be part of the regular family life and he also mentioned playing with his brother Joey.

His family thought he was an abomination so proved them right. No one deserves to be isolated till you become an adult. His father treated him poorly so it was his fault kai turned into some kind of a monster.

You know what??? All the main characters forgave Damon for all the hell he’s done (even though he legit never changed??? Elena helped him, but without her, he went back to his evil side. every. time.) and I’m assuming one of the reasons people act as if Damon is the “good” guy because he has guilt and empathy... so I was expecting that Kai would get a second chance when HE got the ability to empathize... but nope, they ALL acted as if he was worse than Damon (sorry Damon stans...) 🙄
ALSO as I’m on my little rant here haha... they act as if Kai is a serial killer (like Damon is!!!) when in reality the main reason they won’t give him a second chance is because he killed his family (okay tbh I probably wouldn’t like him because of that either) but the point is, Damon’s killed hundreds of people (and although he has empathy, he doesn’t truly feel guilty for all the lives he’s taken) so why is Kai worse than Damon??? Okay end of rant sorry y’all

Use season 7 as an excuse that he went back to his ways cuz he didn’t . The writers and Ian just wanted to desensitize Delena because she was gone among other reason so they exaggerated the hate on Damon by making every episode a hate towards him .. is super obvious .. Half of the stuff that happen in season 7 was not even his fault . He even tried to desiccate himself and somehow that was still bad . He tried telling Stefan don’t go after Julian and he ends up in the hell loop and he gets blamed . He didn’t give the huntress the sword he had no choice cuz she was threatening Bonnies life somehow he was hated for that too . Then he finally lets everyone know he’s on their side by sacrificing himself in going in the vault to end up get mind controlled by the siren saw hell and turn his humanity off .. gets it back on tries to help ...his brother makes a stupid move to try to kill the devil and ends up almost dead and Elenas coffin burning and what Damon did ? Traded his own soul knowing he will burn in eternal torment .. Somehow someway no one talks bout those things . But When Stefan does it .. it gets Highly praised . Meanwhile Stefan did as many bad things as well Including been responsible for Damon’s death a few times, killing Enzo been a ripper he also shut his humanity off and kill a whole lot of ppl while working for Cade but I don’t see any hate towards that like he was a saint . Kai deserved better I agree I absolutely love Kai but we can’t say Damon was the worst ever because then if we get technical so was Stefan if not much more worse ..
