    That is one of the most awesome trucks ive ever seen. That was hilarious to see him go from driving straight to turning and kept going!lol Hopefully he can come up with a plan to rebuild. At least he has some support and documentation of all of it. Sorry for your loss Gary.

    Man that’s so sad poor Gary lost everything. That truck was legendary and on top of that he had those vintage bikes and old parts of the truck from its history.

    I remember being a little kid in the 80s in Nebraska going to pulls and monster truck shows as my yearly Birthday present . I today have a built car and trucks that were directly influenced by going to these events as a kid .. thank god for stuff like this ❤❤❤

    At a loss for words...... couldn't imagine what was coming at the end of the video 😢... Such pieces of history lost.... atleast Gary is ok, wouldn't care about the truck if he would've been injured in this mishap. Thanks for the work you do, I though I was subbed to your channel, since I really like what you're putting out and also the new videos always pop up on my feed. But now I'm subscribed for sure!

    Thank you for making the video, you did an amazing job!! I currently live in north central Missouri but I used to live in Lamar Mo in the late 90s. I never got a chance to see the truck in person but always wanted too. Very sad to hear about the fire. Just glad Gary and family are ok.

    My favorite truck of all pulling trucks. Seen it pull many times in Connecticut. Terrible to hear what has happened. I hope him and his son build another one just like it.

      @robguysgarage5422 do you guys remember the bud wiser king, a sled drag truck, was a true 6×6 ,white, Ford f6 or 800 truck ? It pulled the sled up one track, down the other completeling full pulls everytime.

    Wow very cool machines. My favorite was the Jeep and bud boss of course. Makes me think now that the designs coming out of hot wheels aren’t so extreme from the real thing

    There was a guy not too far from where i grew up in Iowa that had a square body gm pulling truck with an Alison v12. I wonder if it's the same one mentioned early in this video... the same guy also built and owned one or two of the pulling sleds that got used around western Iowa. Later on in the 80s, he built a self-propelled sled to eliminate the tow back tractor

      @robguysgarage5422 The truck was called the baby bumblebee. I can't think of the guys name though. I was maybe 5-7yrs old when I remember seeing it pulling. He had a shop of some type, my parents and i would go by it on sunday mornings going to church, that truck sat by the shop until the early 80s. The sanctioning body around here in the 80s was the Midwest 2x4 pullers association. Somebody that pulled in the 70s-80s may have pictures and/or pictures of the sleds

    My great uncle is Gary Cook, he had the Elite Pete as an exhibition pulling vehicle, he also who owned the original Equalizer monster truck

    Super cool history video. Saw him several years ago at the Guilty By Association truck show held at Chrome Shop Mafia / 4 States Trucks. Wasn’t able to get real close at the time as it was actually parked at the truck stop. Always enjoyed seeing this in the Pulling Magazine Sorry to hear of the horrible news. Thanks for sharing

    There was a turbine powered tractor many years ago driven by a man by the name of art arfonz ( i hope the spelling is right) but that thing was awesome theyd shut down the lights in the stadium and hed light that thing up it was so cool man see if u can find that one sometime

    I was just asking you about the lil kw and here she is. I seen the lil kw, orange blossom special and big foot 1 and 2 at the old busch stadium in the early 80's and remember it like it was yesterday.

      @@robguysgarage5422it’s just a brand of bumper that a whole lot of farmers swear by on their farm trucks, they have a very distinctive shape that gives them away. Just curious, really great videos, thanks for tracking these old pulling vehicles and drivers down they are really great!!! Would love to see some of the old tractors from then tracked down like this, a lot of them have a really long pedigree and some are still pulling today!!
