Dude it’s not the violin or any music instrument which is consider as maata Saraswathi . It’s the divine music which comes from them is what we consider as Maata Saraswathi and same with the books . It’s not about the books , it’s about the knowledge which we acquire through books.
And coming to posture , it’s right as it is a CARNATIC STYLE . In carnatic music ,we sit down which shows our INDIAN CULTURE. And so what if it is an western instrument. Music has no barriers .
And you Mr Sekhar Suman Nayak have you ever know about our Indian culture and divine Carnatic music and about violin , you didn’t said that okay .

Just like you tune S P S P. If say the shruthi is D which is 2 shruthi, then u will tune S P S P as D A D A. But if you have to tune it to P S P S then u will tune as A D A D. But here is the thing that you should keep in mind. Only for shruthis A, A#, B, C and C# should u use P S P S. Because the strings are G D A E and these strings can take up to only those shruthis. Go through my video on shruthi and tuning and u will get an idea. But I highly recommend that you please discuss this with your guru. It’s one thing to watch videos and get information and getting information from your guru one on one.
