A good skill to learn in life is picking the right friends. This is a good lesson to learn albeit difficult. Lewis’s selfish behaviour lost him the best friend he could have had. Harry move on and never look back. Lewis is untrustworthy and does not deserve your friendship or loyalty.

I think a lot of these fairly attractive grifters have gotten away with so many small things in their lives that they start taking advantage and it’s a slippery slope into selfishness. Tidy shirt knew how to present himself better and has gotten away with more in the past. He really did his mate dirty and I hope this changed him for the better.
Harry is a good person to be willing to forgive Lewis, but their friendship will never be what it used to be once trust is broken. I pray that Lewis learned his lesson of how valuable trust is and having a friend that could have lasted a lifetime is way more important than a temporary Romance. I had a similar story happen to me, I dated a girl who I was in love with at the time and we were having some problems so I asked my best friend at the time to see what was the matter, one night they stayed on the phone for 3 hours and the next night it was for two hours...she called and broke up with me on valentine's day and they started dating and got married two years later...it hurt me so bad that I cried over the whole thing...in 2016 I found out that she passed away and last year I heard he passed away...I don't harbor any hard feelings towards them...but me and him tried to work on our friendship after it happened but it was never the same.
