Love this whole thing. Im a sci-fi writer and used hours and hours of this music to write to. Going to use it right now as a matter of fact to start my next novel. Thanks so much Tiki!
@@tikidino I'm going to give you a signed copy of my novel because you're Classic 1950s sci-fi music montage has given me so much imagination and inspiration doing this book.. thanks buddy
The Day The Earth Stood Still & Forbidden Planet are the ones that stand head and shoulders over every other movie from that time and even today. All the others are iconic in their own right, but those two are my hands down favorites.
Today sci-fi movies are excepted and given huge budgets. Back in the 1950’s it was unheard of, sci-fi were b-films, low budget quickies made for kids & teens. How times have changed.
@@tikidino But every now and then a big studio would put some major money and talent behind a genre project with great success, critically and financially.
OMG I've found it! I used to listen to this and had it on repeat haha when I was revising for my law degree final exam back in 2017! There was also a Part 2 video which started with the music from The Blob. When I went to my saved videos in my Soundtrack playlist on youtube I was gutted to see it was deleted by the owner :( I kept searching and search and then it appeared on your channel wohoo!! Thank you SO much for sharing it on youtube. Did you manage to download Part 2 before it was removed? It would be awesome to get that back too. What is particularly awesome about the videos are the images which accompany the soundtrack :)

Can anyone help me? I’m a guitarist trying to come up with a solo for a song and I’ve always liked the Erie sound of an old sci-fi movie score. I’m looking for that sort of alien sound I cant describe it but I’ve heard it before in movies where aliens show up, anyone know where I can find it?

Forbidden Planet's is incredible. I can't imagine being some of the first musicians to pair experimental tape loops with sci-fi, it's perfect.
The Thing and Invasion of the Body Snatchers does as well. Not to mention War of the Worlds.
I like to listen to this while I build projects
This would be great for my movie, thank you for posting this video
15:16 this theme is used from gigantis the fire monster 1959
