I wonder if soaking the shutter in lighter fluid will help fix that shutter issue. Of course it will require removing the lenses from the shutter assembly, but if it seems to be easily done it might be worth a try.
I bought a retina II for 40$ a few years ago. It had the same Schneider 50/2, a very sharp lens. I shoot some films and sold it last year for 50$ because I have way too many film cameras. Like you I am not a collector, if I don't use I sell.
Nice buys. I don't have these very old cameras but I have a Nikon D700, D3s and D4s. These cameras were $4K-$5K when released in the early 2000s but are now around $400-$500 or less. It makes you wonder what a Nikon Z9 will be worth in a few years.
I bought my D3s new it’s been hammered for years for pleasure and for work I still use it on a semi regular basis it never lets me down awesome camera
I want to use them, too. Had that model Zenobia but it needed more work than I was willing to do or pay for.
Nice cameras! I live in Germany and have collected a lot of cameras, including a lot of Baldas and Retinas, I can say my Super Baldina is definitely bigger than my Retinas of the same era.

Good result with those cameras. A CLA will fix most issues. I dug out out a few of my old cameras just to use as channel content however I have gone insane I buy cameras at any opportunity I don’t do drugs gamble drink of mess about with gorgeous lasses not for the lack of trying of course so any spare money I have goes on cameras film and chemicals. I don’t buy to show I buy to try them I love it. I’m a fan of folders I have a few my fave being the voigtlander bessa II and the zeiss ikonta m cracking cameras I have on 35mm folder an Agfa as yet un used but it’s getting close 📷😂
Agfa (ANSCO) used the same grease Ricoh did. It's a well known foe with camera repair persons ;-)
I think those are the first left handed cameras I've ever seen.
Also Exaktas were left hand!

It’s a small world. I just picked up a Zenobia a few days ago for about as cheaply and everything works fine. Enjoy!
