In the USA Queen wasn’t appropriated by everyone. It was about Freddie’s sexually. Homophobia was rampant in my small Northeastern home town. I would try to insist that it wasn’t our business who was loving whom , it was totally about the music. Sadly, I couldn’t always get my point through. Maneskin is a band full of gifted youngsters. Really gifted!! I hope that they tour the US. I’ve already talked my husband into going to their concert. So far they have no US bookings. But a girl can hope. Lol
I love that their fan base isn't just ignoring the other members for the lead singer like a lot of others do, but everyone gets their chance to be recognized
