"...my husband has made me this nice chart."
The more I learn about Paul Child the more amazed I am at how incredibly supportive he was of his wife's career in a time when men just did not have that attitude.

Educational cooking shows, how I miss them. I’m going to sound like an old goat, but todays cooking competitions and and overproduced food porn just don’t do it for me like these old Julia Child episodes. These are classic for a reason.

A very informative episode. Timeless. No need to update or change anything. I've always been intimidated cooking a expensive steak. Julia has given confidence to give it a try.

I remember this episode. My mom (a Hunkie raised among bootleggers whose dining room at noon, was a blind pig for Chrysler white collars) thought Julia was a booze hound. Her comments during this episode were hilarious.

So many youtube videos are ruined with loud and horrid music. Why are uploaders so obsessed with awful music . What's wrong with a nice quiet video with just the voice of the person. I find so many unwatchable for this reason. thanks Julia!
