I do mainly white clover her in Maryland. Do have about an acre of corn thats maybe 500 yards from the clover. We catch bucks early in the morning, just after the sun comes up, moving from the clover to the corn fields and its like clockwork early season. Give them a little something different and they tend to make it a habit of finding it. I do have decent turkey on my property but i mainly focus on the deer population.
Doc the Science Guy doing it up! I do have a question, how is your rabbit population with your type of food plots? I'm trying for rabbit, quail, turkey and deer then trying for pheasant.
Good info Doc. I have been using diverse cover crops with minimum tillage and herbicide use for many years in my habitat work. Also started inoculating my seeds with broad spectrum microbes and fungi. I would love to communicate with you on how you got such a successful YT channel.
I’ve always wanted to plant a maximum diversity clover mix in my food plot. White clover, red clover, strawberry clover, alsike clover, purple prairie clover, yellow sweet clover. Really as many deer palatable clover species I can possibly manage to get my hands on
Doc do you by any chance have a cure that will stop earthworms from doing a Kama-kazi suicide dive in to my swimming pool during heavy rains? Been having the problem for years and basically it's becoming a real pain in the butt. I'm not just talking about a dozen or so worms, I'm talking about hundreds of them dead at the bottom of the pool or dead and on the pool deck. I have to power wash them off to clean the the deck and then vacuum the pool. Since to also have a pool, any suggestions?
Nice work
