- HIGHLIGHTS | CRUSADERS v MOANA PASIFIKA | Super Rugby Pacific 2024 | Round 15
The Crusaders face a nervous wait to see if they’ll play Super Rugby Pacific finals in 2024. The men from Christchurch beat Moana Pasifika on Friday night but will hope the Melbourne Rebels can knock over the Fijian Drua, who are trying to defend their spot in the top eight.

Love the highlights thanks Super Rugby Pacific 😊
Any chance of popping up the team line ups at the start please?
if the crusaders go all the way to win the comp ,that will be the greatest comeback in super rugby history
Would love to see the Rebels win it
So who are they betting on to lose in order to go through??
Stop shitting yourself 😂
@@JayPex100fijian drua to lose at home😂
@@user-io8un9ko1x all the best😅😅
Slow start to the season but now starting to pump again ... Dam I love this Game!
Bloody well played Saders. Nice to see Ryan touch her down.
Now for the Rebels to do the Crusaders a favour !!
Rebels don't exist anymore do they?
@davidlee55 They still have two more games left.
@@khankake9576 okay. I'm sure they are extra motivated to play.. for an Aussie side that rugby Australia decided not to save....
That's IF the Rebels can actually do it in Lautoka
@@khankake9576one game left
Lets Go Crusaders.
Ryan Crotty! I thought I was seeing things.
I remember SA rugby teams of the 90s playing this "crash the ball over" and it been trash-talked for been boring. Never thought I'd see the Crusaders adopt it to this degree.
Its definitely boring.... but they are desperate.
@@mikescudder4621 Good point, "win at all cost".
I'd say many people have changed their tune on it this season, especially considering how well it's going for the Blues.
Drua have this...
It’s a miracle 😭
Super rugby needs a champions league. Bin this comp, play national comps then have the best play each other. Like the Heineken cup
That's pretty much how super rugby started off and it should go back to a similar model I reckon. Make the NPC a pro comp, cut down on or merge some of the sides and play outside the international window so ABs players are available. Have super rugby as a champions cup style competition where the best clubs compete, include Japanese clubs too and that could resolve some financial issues and even the eligibility issue by allowing ABs playing in the top Japanese sides to be available for selection.
Crusaders pretty much sweating on that game in Lautoka hoping that the Rebels do them a favor despite heavy odds against the visitors currently in their last ever SR season after RA decided to pull the plug on them.
What was #4 doing in the beginning of the game😂
Giving MP some charity points. He knew what was coming.
Cheating.
fixed reminds me of the NZsoccer players fixing the games
Yes 😂
Don't get too excited, the defending champions need the soon be axed Melbourne Rebels to beat the Drua in Fiji. Can't see it happening. The Crusaders may have played their last match of 2024.
@@khankake9576 lets hope so
@@DavidGraeberWasRight Let's hope not. Have them face the Blues, and throw in some injuries for the winner to benefit the Canes.
@@icefarrow7959 ah now you're talking!
How useless is it that the first clip shows someone already in the bin? Cards ARE highlights. Always include them.
Thought the same thing mate. You loose the context of the game otherwise.
Meh, card was not worth showing. Moody got a yellow card for head contact, but then it was deemed mitigated because the opposition dipped.
anyone else watched on Sky Sport 1 with no commentary?
Hint for forwards defending a rolling maul. Standing there watching with a woebegone expression, upright and unbound, doesn’t work. It’s basic physics. Mass times momentum wins. The coaches can see you not even trying.
Mass times momentum??
I am more and more disapointed by the way south teams play
Congratulations to the Crusaders on becoming the 2024 Super Rugby champions
😂😂😂

At least on YT you can fast forward the rolling maul tries 😴
ethans built like his dad was
His dad wasn't made of glass.
Kia kaha CRUSADERS ❤🖤❤️🖤
Fiji win: all over
Fiji lose, hopefully the Force is not with them..
Not sure about Crusaders no9, I know they have been trying to excite people about him, but he is not a Roigard, soz, not yet he aint, possibly never will be.
He will improve. Give him time
Even Christie is better than him
Why should he be like, whereas he has his own style of play. Do you cook like your mom?
Sounds like you've never watched him. He's pretty exceptional for a 21 year old. Has a more rounded skillset than Roigard and will likely go further. CR hasnt done much, you speak of him like he's Smith.
He is only 21 years old. What is with these dumb comparisons against people who're older and more experienced than him?
0:30 that is honestly the dumbest penalty given away, wtf are you doing. just let him go
Bye bye crusaders 😂😂
Time to cut the weak teams, bring back South Africa and introduce some Japanese teams. Super Rugby is dead on its feet right now.
😂 South Africa were the weakest teams. They managed three measly titles in TWENTY FIVE YEARS of trying 🤣
Jaguares are coming back, Super Rugby and League One merging into a "Champions Cup" style comp would be better.
And I don't think the Saffa teams want to return anytime soon.
Shut yha mouth
SA are never coming back. Why would they, when they earn better money to play weaker opposition now?
@@ablewilling2778 Pretty dumb as fuck comment when almost all NZ wins were from the Crusaders. Suddenly your comment sounds incredibly stupid, although it already did. Incredibly childish.
Crusaders are boring to watch.
Always have been. Despite what Cantabs will have you believe, it's the main reason they're disliked as much as they are: boring, cynical, low-percentage stuff. Even if it is effective for them alot the time it's the death of the sport.
Get your shit together Moana Pasifika and let other teams take part instead. You got trashed by the worst Crusaders team ever 😂
Have the Crusaders played their last game of the season? If the Drua win tomorrow, they are gone.😂
@@khankake9576let's hope so.
Moana got robbed!
Comp will be cool without the Rebels and Moana should follow them
Sad rebels are gone, they're a team with 14 years history in the comp.
@@preest_nz a history of mediocrity might I add
@naisyjohns the competition is dying and we're down to 11 teams. The rebels haven't been a great side, but they've had some great moments. Ive enjoyed watching them compete over the years. Sad to see them gone.
@@preest_nz I respect your opinion so we can just agree to disagree
@@preest_nz "Competition is dying" TV viewership and stadium attendance has been increasing every year the last few years. Some rounds have had as much as a 25% increase in viewership on last year. It's only dying in Australia.
Soz, have to say this, Anglo-saxony / British family alert at 1:47 I can tell a Brit a mile off, no teeth, chomping away with its big mouth. Just had to point that one out, sorry, lol.
Thats good ole fashioned chewin' tobacca boy!
Son, that's a typical crackhead. Every country has them
12 time champions, Super Rugby Aotearoa doesn't count, it wasn't a full comp.
Yeah but nobody outside of NZ was coming close 😂
Super Rugby TransTasman was the basis for what we have now: bought the Force back in and dumped SA. The addition of Moana and the Drua is the only difference, and it's hardly any.
Aren't you a blues fan? 😂
The Aotearoa titles have far more weight than the Trans Tasman title, bro.
