The tires ate foam filled. The nail hole allows the air to escape when the A&B foam are being pumped through the valve stem. The nail stops the goo from oozing out.

Great video Stan. I saw you guys using this in another video and was waiting for more info. I've thought about wheels on the planer blade to to keep an even height. Looks like someone beat me to it. 😛
The Rakeinator. wow when i hired a bobcat after i was finished the job i was struggling to re-level the (curved ) dirt paths, the skid wheels kept digging it up no matter how many times i back-dragged ( only driven it for 8 hours), i ended up with 8 inch hills and dips, so i just levelled it with a shovel and a handrake.
At first I thought it was a pos gimmic. But now I can see how useful it could be. Could've used that on my lawn before I planted seed and it would've saved some 36hrs of raking/digging every rock out and grading.
I have a soil conditioner and it works great for rock or dirt and it can angle for wind rows. I looked at the sr3 and it seems expensive for what it is. But watching you work with it looks alright.

I was having so much fun that I wasn't paying attention to the rear section of the drop off .... Well long story short , I went down it backwards and it was scary as hell . But unbelievably the little Bobcat didn't even flip over and kill me . It does have rops ( Cage ) but I wanted to grab onto something more stable being that this was before my seat belt installation . I got the little guy out of the drop off and she fired right up after about 20 minutes that I needed to clean myself up and change clothes . Thanks Stanley , Your always teaching me stuff .

Concerned with how to properly get rid of the existing turf once it’s killed off so no bumpy chunks are left. Ground is very compacted. Love your videos and just saw your interview with ABI. What a coincidence lol.

Hi David! Stan and the crew are just getting started with the SR3. Check out how the attachment has brought significant impact to the bottom line at Henderson Turf Farm. 👇🏼 - Matt ua-cam.com/video/0YZGQ0XinRY/v-deo.html
Stanley you need to try unloading iron with a skid steer I used to unload at fuel &dock in marionette Wisconsin along time ago when they used 873 bobcats and one 863 all old foot control one bucket full is over the weight it can handle so you can only lift about 4 feet tell it starts doing wheelies I usually road on those front wheels up iron just to dump and keep it stacked higher for the magnet crane
Mine never has worked well. It seems like the mid leveler is always carrying way too much before the front teeth ever get to touch. I suppose I could pin it up a notch and then your scarifier teeth can’t come down. In extremely loose dirt, like 6 inches of pure fluffy peat it just makes piles and also ridges on the sides. It works best where there is somewhat of a base. It seems to need powder dry and about two inches of fluff on top of a harder base.
Hi Stirv! I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment in your SR3. You’re right that every project and soil type is different. I’m surprised that you’ve had better experience with dry powder because we normally encourage operation when you’ve got a bit of moisture... the SR3 levels better when the soil has some purchase. - You’re spot on about using pins or bolts to hold the floating leveling blade up a notch or two. If you’ve got 6” of loose material, the SR3 is going to want to bury your skid steer! - I’d encourage you to pin that level blade up next chance you get. And remember, our Support Techs love fielding calls on concerns like this. They’d be happy to help you get it dialed in. Hope to hear from you soon! - Matt
If the scarifiers are dragging then pin them up to the next higher level. I have them set between 1-5" and its perfect. The scarifiers are out of the way
Stanley "Dirt Monkey" Genadek it’s the floating leveler that is always completely buried in mounded soft dirt and throwing ridges to the sides. It’s buried before the front teeth even touch the ground. I have it on a 333d and maybe it’s just that some of the angles are messed up. Then when you pin up the floating bar a couple notches you can’t use your scarifier. It drops a bit and hits the floating leveler before the teeth get anywhere near the dirt. I see no reason to have those arms coming forward off the floating section other than to interfere with lowering the teeth. You can’t lift them from the front but it is a visual indicator of what it’s doing.
Thanks for the videos - boat loads of great content!! I’m wanting to buy a skid steer and start a side gig doing simple grading work. Mr. Stanley, quick question. Just wondering if you have a video or a thought on when is a good time to purchase a skid steer or mini excavator? Last year I spent $19,000 in rentals. And so far this year I'm at $2,700 with probably another $20,000 in rentals. Like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Thank you.

I want to see Letsdig, Andrew Camarata and DirtPerfect do that wheel stand on their machine of choice. I drove a Melroe Bobcat one summer in 1969 in a large construction site in Houston when I was in college. Never did that wheely on purpose. I could make it buck like a bronco, though.
Would you say that you'd take this attachment over a soil conditioner and a landscape rake? If you could only buy one for the most versatility which would it be?
@@joshstone9411 If you're looking to regrade to level, the SR3's floating leveling blade is your new best friend. You'll be able to move way more material and, when in float position, leveling work almost feels automatic. Great question! -- Matt
Zachary Locicero I’ve never used what he has but I loved my Harley Rake. I had a hydraulic rake mounted on the back of a John Deere 110 TLB. Added a third hydraulic valve to run the roller. Used an adapter plate to mount it to the three point hitch arms. Had a hydraulic top link cylinder. Set the gauge wheels on the ground and use the adjustable top link to adjust the depth of the machine. It was like using an asphalt mill. Grind the high spots off and pull the loose dirt to the low spots.
Hi Brian! Power rakes have their place for sure. They are good in situations in which you want to beat the vegetation back into the surface material to retain the organic matter. But we found most power takes struggle to produce the ideal depth of decompaction desirable for grass seed germination and growth (2-3 inches). In addition, the power rakes aren’t designed to produce the level surface contour the floating leveling blade of the SR3 can achieve. - Great observation, though. Our factory reps compare and contrast the SR3 to power rakes all the time. 😊 - Matt

I’ve considered this attachment but my question is how does it work on hard packed clay? I have a contractor that builds all slab foundation houses and doesn’t have any topsoil in the budget so will it break up the clay or will I be fighting to break up clumps of clay?
Hi Jonathan! Hard packed clay is no problem. Below is a link that shows our TR3 (the tractor version of the SR3) working up a nasty packed clay/gravel lot. Those scarifiers make pretty quick work of the situation. Hope this helps! -- Matt ua-cam.com/video/uo4fuZULhJs/v-deo.html

We tried to keep the design really simple on the SR3 so you can spend more time working and less time repairing. Great observation! -- Matt
Man your crazy!i love it keep up the great vids.
Appreciate it!
i could almost taste the dirt!! :-)
Thank you.
@16:25 I am laughing my ass off at Sam right there, I hate to break it to him but that $50 dollar agate is maybe 5 or 10 if it has something real special.
Would you own this or the hydra bucket if you had to pick one?
I love that ASV!
That would be great for bush and tree roots
Stan , utube Demo Dozer bucket , ( Blue ) I own and manage 36 buildings over 80 units plus 4K warehouse , bought from skid steer solutions , John from CA inventor , Love it , dismantled 25 yr old stockade fence 30 sections in 1 hour from going overtop, also used to pull large overgrown shrubs totally out of ground like a big hand , smothering then curling and lifting up , bees and all
I have two Wacker WL 30 and 32 loaders , love them , quick attach from cab , great 360 view , heat , checkout demo dozer , enjoy watching
Next attachment from HD 66” rotating broom from quick attach , spoke to Tom House , told him i watched your video with them , I’d use on sidewalks of rentals with WL
Be safe , From Chester County PA , one mile from Sikorsky commercial helicopter plant ( seen on news last year for danger of closing ) border of Amish Country ( Lancaster Pa )
If I didn't have so many rocks, it would be great for digging up roots.
LOL- Ive done that many times as well.
Hey Stan.
Have you tried to do nose wheelies in your ASV?
Could someone point me in the direction for these rocks these guys find? What to look for etc.? I come across a bunch landscaping
It took u insanely long to bust down that crate
Its all good where have I heard that before. Cool banana's. Aussie Jeff
You should put some fresh straw down for Franky,
Would you say that you'd take this attachment over a soil conditioner and a landscape rake? If you could only buy one for the most versatility which would it be?
Most common use I have is usually tearing up grass and regrading to level.
@@joshstone9411 If you're looking to regrade to level, the SR3's floating leveling blade is your new best friend. You'll be able to move way more material and, when in float position, leveling work almost feels automatic. Great question! -- Matt
Have you ever heard of a Harley Rake?
Works better right?
😊 - Matt
ABI Attachments very true but you and I both know that 95% of contractors don’t care what condition the cake is in as as long as the icing looks good.
Was this a family video of Stan on Christmas Morning or just a Dirt Monkey video as usual? My man was Uber excited! Hahaha.
LOL
Good video and I like the "teaching" time you take with your crew. Are you still liking the SR3 or do you prefer another tool for rough grading and/or finish grading?
Wow. I never thought I would see you doing Wheely with a Skid Steer. Any way great Job. I like that tool What do you call it? Can you use it on a Tractor? God Bless.
Thanks 👍yes they have them I believe
Hi Shane, glad you like the looks of the SR3! Below you'll find a link to the TR3. Same components, but designed for a tractor's 3pt hitch compatibility. Enjoy! -- Matt ua-cam.com/video/oZFd02wYdfw/v-deo.html
Thanks Stan.
2:22 foam filled tires?
4:22 yep
I’ve considered this attachment but my question is how does it work on hard packed clay? I have a contractor that builds all slab foundation houses and doesn’t have any topsoil in the budget so will it break up the clay or will I be fighting to break up clumps of clay?
Hi Jonathan! Hard packed clay is no problem. Below is a link that shows our TR3 (the tractor version of the SR3) working up a nasty packed clay/gravel lot. Those scarifiers make pretty quick work of the situation. Hope this helps! -- Matt

What’s the brand. Price. Price for maintenance items? Hours till replacing wear items? Dealer network?
The SR3 by yours truly. We prefer to make our factory reps available to end users rather than leverage a dealer network (check out why in the link below). We look forward to hearing from you! -- Matt

Whats the deal with the rock he picked up towards the end and said it could be worth $50? What kind of rock is it?
It is an " Agate" gemstone! A good operator has a background in geology, gives them knowledge of soil, rock, mineral structure. See links for agates. www.dnr.state.mn.us/geologyrec/index.html www.gemsociety.org/article/agate-gem-information/

7:43 can anyone please tell me the name of this song
Also for future videos, I would include the links of the songs used in the video in the description of the video. It might help other music lovers like myself out!
I wish you were in Virginia 😜🤙
7:58 well balanced? Looks unbalanced, how can you lift anything if it tips forward so easy?
Because I control if it tips or not
@@Dirtmonkey mine don't tip even if i try to get it to tip unless i overload it..
Stanley, what are your thoughts on the visibility out of the cab on the ASV? Looks minimal from the thicker/ wide pillars
I have no problems with it.
Stan, what are your thoughts on the Harley rake then?
I like them. This is better though
Any skid steer giveaways?? I want one
