Hey guys, lovely gardern, and lovely flowers,I like that flowers, and nice smoking pipe tobacco in tiny house, very very beutiful place,to rest, beside of the gardern, thank a lot ❤❤❤❤❤
You, sir, are a joy. I'll be ordering that book, multiple copies for gift giving. I wish the world treasured good stories and the books that hold them as they should.
I just received my copy of this awesome collection today. Thank you for making it known to the community. I had no idea that this was going to be released!
I do hope you continue these videos (time, travel and circumstance allowing!)-they have been a real blessing and a comfort in troubled times. Thank you for producing them :) .
This is the first time I have left a comment, but I cherish these meetings with you. Thank you for that enchanted reading. Now, I feel I must acquire my own volume!
My sons have an insatiable thirst for King Arthur, so I told them the story of Sir Galahad and the water nymph once! They liked it. Thank you for sharing with us!
These short moments always brighten up my day. I'm glad you're on the mend from Covid. God bless you! I got rid of my smartphone some time ago, so just have my iPad and computer now, and consequently, have missed some videos. I'm going to have to do some bingeing when I have time.
I want this book now...living in Japan it's gonna take some time to get a hold of Just like to add an edit to my original comment, I'm glad I found you Mr Guite, not sure why it took so long. May I say I fell in love the moment you showed me this book so I bought it, should arrive by the end of the month, hopefully
Just thought I'd let you know Mr Guite that I finally after waiting for a couple of weeks got a hold of this book! It's absolutely beautiful, I read half of it to my son in one sitting truly wonderful and I'm looking forward to reading the rest
So fabulous to have been on this journey from spark of inspiration, to manuscript, to beautifully bound book. Also wonderful to hear you have got through the covid experience. Looking forward to reading this collection to my kids.
thanks Daniel. I've just played your rendition to one of my musical friends and she was deeply moved by it and wants me to tell you what a fine voice you have!
I love this. The idea of 'lost manuscript'has a definite 'Farmer Giles of ham' feeling. I've never read the old poetry, but hearing you read these extracts deffinatly make me want to.
I am reading the story of King Arthur and his knights to my son currently. This is a book I may have to pick up after we finish the original tale! Good to see you!
Dear Fr. Malcolm, I hope and pray your recovery is quick and complete. May our Lord grant it. I was introduced to your books (Word in the Wilderness, Parable and Paradox, and David's Crown) during Great Lent. I must confess until I read your books and began to follow you on UA-cam, I absolutely hated poetry. I must of had one of those teachers you mentioned in one of your videos. Thank you for opening a whole new world for me. David's Crown has become part of my daily rule along with the Psalter. I can't thank you enough. You mention coming to the States and Canada during May-June. Anywhere near Massachusetts? I would live to meet you and hear a lecture if possible. May our God bless and keep you.
Thanks, I'm delighted to hear that I have helped you to like poetry and that you are making such good use of David's Crown. I'll be in Wisconsin and Seattle;e this time but I'm sure Massachusetts will come up some time. I'll try to get my schedule up on my blog/website
I purchased my copy of the Lost Tales of Sir Galahad this past spring. It is a wonderful book and the woodcuts, as mentioned in the video, are beautiful. In terms of pipes, I favor Savinelli mostly, but the more I listen to you speak and read, I'm finding myself lost, if you like, at not owning a Peterson. I may need to rectify that. A question for you: do you have a favorite tobacco or a few that you always have near to hand?
thanks. I met Phil, and shared a pipe and a pint wit him on my last American trip and would love to do a project with him, so maybe that's something we can make happen!
Thank you for such a lovely poem as usual. Next time tell us what you are smoking and drinking if you don't mind. Will you or have you been to Utah? Take care sir Smoking Sutliff proper English out of London briar.
Glad to have a new story from you and glad you are on the mend. If you have the time could you please recommend a good entry point for the Arthur stories? Sharp pipe too by the way.
I look forward to your videos, Malcolm. I’ve had a few days off this week so I’ve been enjoying my pipe (with many cups of tea) in my man cave/shed. I’m glad you’re well! I wonder - how many bowls do you get through a day (when you’re at home)? I’m averaging 3 a day recently 😂
I'm happy to hear you have recovered from the lurgy. We are all probably going to get it eventually. I recently acquired Austin Dobson's Poetical Works. Do you know of this poet and is he worth reading? I would appreciate your opinion. Looking forward to your next post.
Amazon has it listed, hopefully they will get some ‘in country’ stock soon. $86 postage to Australia. I wouldn’t mind if that money was going to the authors, but it’s just going to FedEx & Co.
Wishing you a continued recovery. Please keep the UA-cam videos coming when you can, I very much enjoy a poem and a pipe.
I enjoy every moment you are on UA-cam. Thank you for making my day. God bless you.
You are so kind
You spread joy throughout the world. I'm not sure if there's any more noble quest these days. Well done Sir Malcolm.
you do me great honour!

I'd start with roger Lancelyn Green's beautiful retelling
Thank you very much. I have his book on the Norse myths and enjoyed it. Peace to you and yours.

Lost tales? But I thought gala had them?
I envy that pipe.😊
May I ask, where shall you be in the States?
Wisconsin, then in Canada Winnipeg and Vancouver and then Seattle
I steal a tiny bit of muse from you every time I watch your videos.
excellent. My muse is very generous with her favours and I'm never jealous when she bestows them on others!
💚✨
But Malcolm - how can we in the UK get hold of the lost tales of sir galahad when the rabbit room is charging $73 for postage? Any suggestions?
Amazon has it listed, hopefully they will get some ‘in country’ stock soon. $86 postage to Australia. I wouldn’t mind if that money was going to the authors, but it’s just going to FedEx & Co.
so sorry to hear about these ludicrous postage charges. I'll have a word with Rabbit Room
