These old films of the Club make me miss my dad so much, I wish he was here to ride with me one more time, I miss all my uncles too... RIP until we meet again...YLBD
I don’t even think the CHP didn’t know what to look for 11:18 violations on these motorcycles during the beginning of the HA, this was pretty much new to law enforcement during that era.
Not all true lots lived on… some got lost along the way true but most did go on to live and outlawarchives on Instagram documents or has already documented lots of the guys in this video….
Not sure what you mean, Sheriff named “Tiny” Baxter and Sonny had a truce and it worked. If you mean, "just getting started here" as to the amount of beer and drugs they would consume, than right on, I can dig that.
This was 1965. Amazing to think that people who looked like this in America at the same time Mayberry was going. So imagine a guy with long hair and a beard going into Mayberry and expecting to get served at a diner. Easy to laugh at and run out of the establishment if he were a rock star. But if the same guy with long hair and a beard were a big beefy Hells Angel with leather on, you'd be a fool to tell him he looks like a sissy, challenge him to a fight or run him out of town!
And alotta those same people that turn us away for not cutting our hair or shaving our face, are the same ones with a painting of a guy on their dining room wall with long hair and a beard that teaches them not to judge people. Gotta love it... ... ...
I get it’s in the 60’s but seeing all the HA members listening to cheesy pop music like that feels like the equivalent of them listening to Justin Bieber or something today…
That was the 1965. A lot of early Hells Angels were World War II veterans. Some of its War memorabilia and trophies. Some of the other guys used it for shock value. It didn't really have the same connotation as it does today.
