Gus, I gota agree with you about Irish. That dude loved to party . And he had bitches in every town. And every 1 of them swore that not only did she see Irish but he lived with her . I was from Richmond ,and Irish called ( The Esquire Club ) in Richmond , actually San Pablo but That was his secret fishing hole him and another member from Oakland Mike Lessard would show up there , and every night when the bar closed they had what were referred to as San Pablo poker parties . And you know not only did Irish love the women but he loved to play poker. And I had a love for Irish because he was truly a good natured guy. He loved to fight but he was never a bully , he didn't go around looking for trouble he just never backed up an inch either . I was very disenchanted when he was killed and Sonny told everyone to stand down , that he was going to take care of it , but never retaliated for Irish's murder . I had misspoke in a comment on 1 of your other posts and said that no 1 every got punished for that , and someone corrected me and I must capitulate , what I should have said is ( The club never retaliated ) So I stand corrected. We lost 1 Hell of a Hells Angel that day . F..n and fighten with a Bitch in every town and slipping out with the winning pot at the end of the night. And still a truly good Dude. IRISH R I P !!!
Not sure whether you actually read these but I want to say, I've spent a little time at 1%er parties with 81 and I can say, every biker who has every fired up his hog wants to be an 81 member they're man enough to admit it or not. Your stories are so original and so interesting to guys like me who wish to be an outlaw but for reasons unknown haven't walked that path. Speaking of parties, I heard a story about how he had a monkey named Poncho, and that he used to bring him to some of the parties. The other members said Poncho couldn’t drink whiskey anymore because he got too crazy, so Cisco started limiting his intake to wine only. I heard that the song by “War” (also Bay Area) “Cisco Kid” was about Cisco and Poncho, and if you listen to the lyrics it does talk about “horse was made of steel” and “Poncho drink the wine.” Do you remember seeing them at any of the parties? Cisco was also a one of a kind guy. You are a captivating chronicler and story teller who survived some pretty crazy times and lived to tell us about it. 👊😎👍
