How so? We need out of the conference in order to succeed. Did you not see what happened last year? The financial aspect is too large to ignore. I know it’s been popular to trash the Noles, but at least make some sense!

Recruiting any ACC school while they are still in the ACC could result in a lawsuit by the ACC against the conference(s) recruiting. My guess is that interest will dramatically increase if the ACC folds and/or FSU/Clemson manage to leave the ACC and are then "available". I am an FSU graduate but back home in Arkansas, so I am pulling for FSU to eventually end up in the SEC. From the SEC's standpoint, it makes a lot more sense for FSU to pay whatever it takes to get out of the ACC from their own pocket, then add them to the SEC when there is no liability / downside from a lawsuit, and my guess is that the Big 10 (whom I think is actively communicating and working with the SEC) probably is following the same playbook.
Is FSU actually "tainted", or are the reactions by the SEC and Big 10 part of distancing themselves from a potential lawsuit? We won't know till after the ACC folds or FSU leaves, but my guess is that the SEC and Big 10 have already worked out who will get which team after the ACC folds, and that FSU and Clemson will go to the Big 10 and the SEC will get North Carolina and Virginia.

You are soo clueless, bud. They have to leave the ACC because a team needs money to remain competitive in today's college football, otherwise there is no reputation to uphold. And the SEC and BIG10 can't openly state interest in adding FSU because of legal reasons. FSU was #7 in viewership last year and has been in the top 15 in the country over past several years, even during their slump years. And as far as academics, the AAU is more of a membership than an accreditation. FSU ranks pretty well in the country and falls in the middle of the rest of the BIG10, so if they want FSU they'll easily vote to bring them in. The only reason for the negative sentiment is to make it seem like FSU and Clemson are less desirable this way they can get them at a discount.

When the changes that come from the inequities that are being exposed benefit ALL college programs, is it reasonable to expect that FSU can expect a mound of Thank You cards as a result? So many are impacted by so few. What is right is not always simply going along with someone else's definition.
To belittle a school for speaking out is an obvious act of dislike for the school and nothing to do with the issue. You need a computer to track all the movement within the Conferences. No one belittles them.
The real issue is when others want to create a super conference and the have nots are strewn all over the place. What supreme God makes the final decision?
What FSU is doing, with a bevy of other unnamed schools, is to find parity for all. And, don't think that a 12 team championship with 6 teams from only 2 conferences is parity
.. It's another example of problems within the activity.
Don't lunch the messenger. Zip it, and watch. And when it becomes obvious that it improves the activity as a whole, don't forget the Thank You card.

I think your streaky drawls are the only thing tarnished here.

You are aware that the ACC filed suot against FSU first, right? I wonder if you're protected from libel.

You are a joke lmao. What did big ten say about the pac 12? We are not interested in any teams. What happened how many pac 12 teams are in the big 10. And did you read the Whole article? At the end of Brett's article it says but things can change in the future.
