Can you do a vid on why light shines on objects that way. You're drawing the shadow going to the right when the light is shining from the front, if you get what I mean. And you're drawing the value lighter as it gets to the dark 4 shadow.

Your set (background) is really simple-yet-affective. I love it. Did you build the furniture and shelves? Was the color scheme designed specifically for shooting your tutorial videos?
This has always been my studio set up. Yes, I build the shelves. I use them to store products that I've designed as well as my books and supplies.
