A dear memory....The emotions running through all of us in the crowd was....well in short of other words to describe it..EPIC!
i was there, can confirm it was awesome/amazing/epic/dope/the shit/life changing/humbling and also cultured
Oh you are in trouble, the rabbit hole that is Sabaton is very very deep and even more amazing!! 🤘😎
I honestly can't get enough!
What adds to the it is the "it could have been me" effect. Thirty years war lasted so long many women lost first their husband's and then sons to it, all drafted.
In a time without any other ways to communicate back home than letters - if you were in the war for decades, who even remembers you existed?
The guy who played the guitarsolo is Tommy Johansson He hacmve his own youtubechannel with a lot of amacing cowers He is an multiinstrumentalist and play all the instrument himself He is also the guy behind the music of a lot of Floor Jansens cowers
Please react to his Queen cower Who wants to live forewer
His singingvoice is amacing
That's a fact!!🤘
If you want more from the same tour, check out 'Attack of the dead men' live in London, or 'Red Baron ' in Berlin. Amazing performance!
Epica and Sabaton are currently touring NA together in case you haven’t heard.
While the song can be translated to almost any war and conflict in history fought by soldiers of any nation. This song is more specifically covering the 30 years war that ravaged at the heart of Europe.
30 years that saw some of the worst humanity could do to one another and in many ways also the beginning of the rise of the Swedish Empire - and also the rise of a particular Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus also known by the moniker The Lion of the North
Yep, the idea of the title "A lifetime of war" is that you could literally be born, grow up, and then die fighting in the war all during the period the war occurred in.
I think the queen needs to react to some Sabaton! Love you guys channel and congrats on the recent news!
If you wanna listen to more metal from Sweden you can always listen to more Sabaton. And when you feel for more you can go to Hammerfall, Candlemass, Therion, In Flames and Majestica
Try civil war as well, pretty similar to sabaton but singer has a very different style
Great reaction!🤘
Btw, Sabaton is on tour in the US right now.. 😉 Greetings from Sweden!🤘🇸🇪
Thank you so much and I know I looked up dates but unfortunately no were close to me :(
Another great Swedish band you should react to are the female fronted melodic vikingmetal band called Brothers of Metal. Their singer, Ylva Eriksson are a supertalented vocalist, and most of their songs are about vikingadventures, runes, norse mythology, Asabeliefs etc.
Check them out and you will be surprised how great they are, I recomend the song Kaunaz Dagaz.
It means "Dawn of Fire" translated from the Nordic Runes.
And yes, they sing in English 😉
Hell yeah thanks man
Thanks from sweden on your reaction on Sabaton 😍
They sing about the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) .. Where Sweden became a great power 💙💛
The first part of the song before the first chorus also hit hard in Sweden and the other nordic countrys as we still have conscription so youwhen turn 18 you report for duty 7-15 months (atleast here in sweden)
I so wish they'd done this one when I finally saw them in Copenhagen this year, but hey, at least they did Carolus Rex and a number of other great songs :) This is an emotional one
This is by far the best translation ! Other youtubers have a bit of a wonky translation on their videos. This was better !
Great reaction Killermcknight. Really liked it.
+Niklas Gunnarsson thank you so much!
Welcome to Sabaton Family
Thank you!
The tank has the name "Audie" on it, for Audie Murphy, America's World War 2 famous, yet humble soldier.
Epic
Another Swedish band you have to check out is Orbit Culture. Another amazing band who haven't wrote a weak or bad song. Start with Mast of the World, Carvings, Redfog, Strangler- Or why not Open Eye? Vulture of North is their latest song. Released a month ago. At the moment they touring in the US.
So I just did a bunch of recording for this coming week and I got to record Orbit Culture. This band is wild! Unfortunately, I didn't react to any of the songs you recommended but I'll let it be a surprise!
@@Killermcknight Haha, cool! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

+Woylert thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely check them out
Entombed, Amon Amarth and Opeth are all Swedish, just to name a few. Not to forget In Flames.
+Drescher1984 aw man I had no idea that in flames was swedish that's awesome! the other bands unfortunately haven't heard of them.
Entombed is like what Korn is to NU metal, but for there genre.
okey this might make no sense to you but the whole "livs tid i krig" thing you went for if you want the most corrrect pronounciation of the "i" You need to watchthe holy grail with monty python, or at least the scene of "The knights who say Ni!" The"i" there is probably the closest you get in the English language. However even that whould be wrong since it's to fast. So think Niiii. I hope that would help! id be happy to try and help out with stuff like thins over voice but that i s up to you ofcourse! Some other swedish person please help me out here, i really want to help him out!
Joakim conducting a choir of thousands...
