The woman had so much trauma growing up because of her family. All she wanted in her partner was to always support and not hurt her. She had so much trust issues because of her trauma. Despite that she loved him too. But when he said those words, she didn't know anymore. She can't guarantee that he will not say that again in the future. Even after everything he did, one mistake make all that effort vanish. He regretted and apologize yet he still end up being the one who is wrong. The women who only accept the man after the man sacrifice so much for her. She dated another person, yet the man still loving her. Unfortunately, the man mispoken which he apologize after yet she won't accept apologize from the man and asked for broke up. I pity the man who done and sacrifice everything just to be with the one he love yet his effort end up in vain. I won't blame the women but I won't denied I hate her for broke up with him. However, I understand from her point. She justify her decision because she can't bear to live with the thought she could be the reason him to be unsuccessful. Probably causing near future their relationship might goes wrong turn. But, if you start assuming what future would turn out to be, the man might also would give his best to brings the best for their relationship. He already show how much his unconditionally feeling to her, he also instantly regret for his wrong which is good to realize one mistake and apologize for it. Although, I wishes in the end the man would able to get his wishes to be with the women but after considering everything, I find it's the best for them to separate. Yes, the women has her own reason to broke up but I don't see the women have much feeling to him compare to how much the man love her. The man done everything he could but the women choose to leave him. So, who's wrong? nobody. In the end, both happy with their life, although the man would suffering a bit for his vain effort but it's good he not with that women. He would go better with someone else who truly deserve his unconditionally love. I truly wishes he find himself a better someone who love him like how much he love them. The women choose her choices based on her experience so it's understandable. She actually better off with somebody else. I'm glad the man has great friends to support him.
Although I'm sad they broke up, I don't think it's because she didn't love him enough rather the words he said just had to be her recurring fear- that one day he will regret. Maybe even if he didn't say those words her fear would have eventually snowballed, leading to the same ending or maybe not. What is certain is that the moment she heard those words the fear she continually supressed could no longer be contained- it exploded. He loved her so he feared that he would regret. She loved him hence, she also was scared that he would regret.
His point of view is also right. He might have felt so in that situation, he was depressed for not finding job, but he shouldn't have talked about it loud with a third person. But he spoke all those, that too on the day her father died, which he shouldn't have. Saying u regret meeting someone u r dating is very heartbreaking thing to say..He did everything except try to reassure his feelings for her. He easily gave up on her.
Isn't he himself is the one pursuing college to find her etc etc and when she's right infront of him, by his side though she rejected him once and all he could think is he regret meeting her?!!!!
I agree ! This was a very realistic approach and I love how it ended that he thanked Her for how he turned out in the future. Honestly made me thought a lot about my breakups
if I were the girl I would do the same thing. I always promise not to marry a guy that can remind me of my father and it's the same thing for the girl. I feel like the words that the guy said are not just hurtful but reminds her that pain she and her mom had to endure.
That's the problem...he said that he wasn't himself....he said he never meant those words...ofc everyone feels down....and he was also doing the same....he loved her from the very beginning....she just heard what he said....but never understand what he meant....

Doesn't matter whether he was full of himself or he wasn't himself...but the fact that "thought" is his whom she love regardless...shattered her.
It happens a lot in our life just like this one we are so blinded to see because this kind of pain is not easy to move on, at the end of the day we would let them go and be happy with our own life and someone will come and show that one person that we are only their world or life.
