I'm currently building a city on this same map and it's really become one of my favorites. For a map with only 26% buildable area it really doesn't seem like that little! Can't wait to see what Egg does with it!

Egg, I am amazed. I’ve watched you since Palaven, in my opinion one of your best cities yet, although Noveria is a strong contender! This reminds of those days. Vanilla is the ticket, excited for this. Always have had trouble with mods breaking the game so switched to console and enjoyed it a lot more because you can just play. A lot of the CS UA-camrs who do heavily modded builds make beautiful stuff but also seem to miss that this isn't really how most people experience the game. Egg, you've really shown yourself to be one of the more ethical and open creators in the CS community since October. Please keep up the good work.

The lighthouse road, split off and ran down to the water. My brain said, "Oo, I can see my house, right here." This was a beautiful way to introduce a new series. Looking forwards to it.😊

I can't wait! This is going to be interesting to see you build a vanilla city with all the features that were added during Orchid Bay's life. You'll be able to add the Brooklyn style buildings at the start, with sports venues and parking lots. This is going to be fun!
Edit: I went back to the always helpful tier list for all the DLC maps that you made. This will be an interesting map to build on from your comments in the video. The only negative being the smaller build area, but this works out since I don't imagine this city will last for 18 months, but we can hope, right?

OMGGGGGG yessss I am SO happy. Haven't even watched the trailer yet. I look forward to seeing you keep on exploring vanilla CS1. An opportunity to try new things that challenge you! :D I'm excited to witness how the latest practice of "re-developing" areas in Noob's Guide 2 will influence your building process from the get-go. Rannoch ... does it mean cute Swedish seaside villages ... Copenhagen inspirations ... Lofoten-style camping grounds? Maybe even down to Amsterdam and its canals? Can you tell I'm excited ?

@@OVERCHARGEDEGG oooh! In that case, could I suggest Detroit or even perhaps Toronto or Ottawa for inspo ration for your CBD area. Also I reckon you should include a “little district” which could be a suburb in memorum of all of our favourite OE builds! (So a suburb for Thessia, Orchid Bay, Ikos etc) hope you can make even more great builds

As someone who grew up in the Adirondacks and now lives in the Blue Ridge, I MUST camp at the lighthouse and take my canoe out to paddle to those little islands in the river.

Great teaser, I may have to consider re-enabling the fog sometimes when playing boreal map it does give them a very distinctive vibe. Very excited to see you start another boreal city after Palaven and how this one turns out with all the DLC's and experience from OB.
