Dang! I was there this morning! Paddled out from drainpipes and it was really choppy. It looks like the conditions got way better. I should have stayed longer.
Is there some reason that you have to name the spot so prominently? How about "N. LA pointbreak", or something that doesn't direct people to an out of the way break, quite so hard?
@@kooksurfpov4013 Yeah...and I know about all of them... But you won't catch me spilling the beans - not even in the chats... My issue is the title choice - pictures and video without context are relatively harmless. If you recognize the spot... Good for you. Shhhhhh.... But if you actually know how to surf, and you want to start a research project, and find a secret somewhere... And then show up and know how to behave... That's fine by me too... We all found out about the secrets we know, somehow. The issue I have, is several new channels that have recently taken to name checking and tagging a place, that's already crowded enough as it is. This isn't like someplace out in the boonies of Humboldt or Arcata, either... This is a break in close proximity to a major population center - with only 8 spots in the lot. And the real wave here, is a Double (or triple) Diamond, that doesn't need additional publicity. And frankly, the vast majority of riders AREN'T READY for it, anyway.

lol doesn't look very "out of the way" looks pretty crowded in the video
@@kooksurfpov4013 Compare to County Line and Topanga. That's mild for LA in the summertime. Don't $hit into the well - we all want to drink.
@@anotherworldviewispossible true. There are a few other waves that are still a secret tho :)
