- My new inflatable gryphon toy arrived on the weekend, so I decided to make a video to showcase all of its delightful squeaky features :)
To summarise; this is a massive toy that looks great, is pretty well put-together and is excellent value for money! Still available for order from IW at the time of posting :D

I keep reading about weak seams on this inflatable and yet it looks so rideable. Like I would want to hop on after I blew it up. Have you tried riding it and how did it hold up? Looks like it would be easy to ride in the water as well.
It can definitely take the weight of an average-sized person, no problem at all. I would say you'd have to be gentle with it, though.

Thanks, how do I reinforce the seams
That's a tricky job and not something i've ever attempted. Basically, you have to slice it open along the seams you want to reinforce, glue extra vinyl strips onto the interior of the seam and then close it up again. If you haven't done it before, I would suggest trying the technique on a cheap pool toy first.

You'll still have to order it from Germany, since IW is the only place you can buy them from. No idea what shipping to the US costs, but to Australia it was a reasonable price.

Is it very fragile because I way 230 pounds
It's not as strong as some of the other custom toys. I weigh about 180 myself and I can put my full weight on it, but I wouldn't bounce up and down or treat it roughly. If you're gentle it should be okay.
