Pereira’s power is unreal, 7-1 in the UFC and already a two division champion in one year.
Big 1
Man speedrun the UFC
2 division champ not double champ
Well tbf it helps when you're given a tailor-made, short path to the top avoiding all grapplers in the division because you have history with the champ, but he's still a beast for sure.
@@terellburtton2390 The pereira riders will find a way to make him double champ.
Sean’s recovery kinda crazy
Fr, even the fact he ate that hook and went to stand back up to keep fighting is wild. Alex was just accurate enough to catch him again on the way back up.
He's has a really good chin. He took a lot of damage against DDP, and he didn't seem fazed. And DDP has good power, too.
Meat Eater
Also that Pereira is basically a Light heavyweight guy
@@RideTheDalan89Bro, he’s KOing Light Heavyweights now. His power transcends through higher weight classes😭 It’s mind boggling how he hits so hard and doesn’t even look like he’s putting much into his shots.
Strickland got a chin. Most people go to shadow realm after the left hook
I mean his lights did technically go out twice quickly, but I agree he does have a chin
He is out on his feet.
Where did you think he went instead
@@Sourcepowathat's not what out on your feet is that means you're lights are completely off before you hit the mat.
@@OldManLuffyout on your feet means you’re not there and just standing and defending on instinct. When a fighter just keeps getting hit over and over and over and over and over after a big shot…that’s out on the feet. Not when they are falling over unconscious before they hit the mat😂😂😂
Respect bro. As soon as he regained himself, he walked up and shook his hand.
What a Gem.
That left sounded like a hit marker in COD
Pump action shotgun said night night 🌙
💀💀💀
Yea is that a real sound. Seems fake
Wunderwaffe DG-2 shot
thpppp
Sean was gone, but you could tell Sean was instinctively trying his best to survive after that left hook.
yea u aint getting far on instincts vs Pereira
Getting rocked like that is like having instant dizzyness hit you outta nowhere lol
I feel like it was early stopped @@CaughtInp
It was cool if the referee let the fight for few more seconds to see
Ref was protecting him from getting serious damage..he wasnt going to protect himself from a follow up@@Inventor1488
the fact sean ate that left hook better than hill did is bananas
You’re so right
Perrira most likely has more power at 205,but yea Sean’s definitely got a better chin than he gives himself credit for, bros pretty damn durable in reality all around kinda like an American mike bisping
@@nigerianprincewithaids it’s true, can’t wait till he grows his hair and stops being annoying
And Alex landed it cleaner on him than he did on Hill. He still got up to ask for seconds and, while clearly staggered and still out of the fight, he was less knocked out than Hill.
@@matthillfromcollege4109He also has to lose an eye against a juiced guy. Costa?! He does throw some crazy kicks too.
Anyone noticed how Alex had respect for Strickland, and he noticed he was out on his feet and the crowd went nuts he tryed to hush them, look at him
That's not what pereira was doing. 😅
Trying to “hush” the crowd😂🤡🤡🤡🤡
Indeed. Sean showed no disrespect prior to the fight like Hill so he didn't get meme'd. XD
He wasn't totally out off his feet and that wasn't any kind of hushing the crowd at all lol, where do people come up with this shit
@@MrMuz99Alex respects him. So it might be true.
Imagine being locked in Octagon with Pereira.
Sounds lit
For him maybe @@GeorgesStHenry
@@GeorgesStHenrybro wants to die
Bro, alex is strong, but there are stronger people than him
@@Atifa.kThey don’t come much stronger than him at his weight. The guy is an apex predator.
A fucking gunshot
Imagine how loud that would have been for Strickland. I bet his head was ringing man
Just love the way those too are in each others corner now
That knockout woke up the Mayweather in him
Pereira has what I like to call "fuck you power."
It’s called the touch of death
I love the respect from both fighters on this fight. Sean Strickland throwing his hands up like how the fuck can anybody withstand a hit from that, and Alex padding down the crowd and reactions because he respects Strickland because he knows Strickland is a good guy
This fight sent sean strickland to the next level sometimes a loss is better than a win
He doesn't really load up for that left hook, it's mostly technique and damn that punch sound nice!
Hit marker sound
Crazy that people just thought of Sean as a stepping stone for others in the division back then. The perception toward him as a fighter completely changed after he beat Izzy.
The only notable win of his career. Outside that he's a mediocre fighter.
@@Obiodum_ He's far from "mediocre" but yeah, normally I wouldn't call him wc material either.
At least to me mediocre (obviously in ufc level) guys are like Kevin Holland or Bobby Green, fighters who are very talented but not elite, they're pretty much used to serve as the ,,first big win" for elite prospects. Strickland is better than that.
@@darthrevan6861 Strickland isn't better than that. Before his win against Adesanya, he had never beaten a single top 5 contender in his career.
He has a padded record and his best win before Adesanya was Brendan Allen.
He has a padded record as he's been fed unranked nobodies in the UFC and has wins in a B-tier promotion before joining the UFC.
Do me a favour.
@@Obiodum_ I don't really like Strickland (especially after his drama with DDP), but even if that Adesanya win will be his only top 5 win in his whole career, that win alone makes him a level above Bobby Green or Kevin Holland's mediocrity IN MY OPINION. Also I had similar thoughts as you, but he fought a very 50-50 fight with DDP too, where most people thought he won (I'm not one of them, I do think DDP deserved the win), those 2 fights to me pretty much showed that he's not just a mediocre fighter -> he might not be WC-material (he's a former WC so this is quite a stupid thing to say), but in my eyes he's still an elite fighter.
But it's completely fine if we don't agree.
@@Obiodum_ Really hard to call him mediocre after his last two fights. Everyone thought that it would take a miracle for him to beat Izzy, but all it took was for him to fight the way he usually does. Then he goes on to have a close fight with DDP (you could easily argue the case for Strickland winning this fight), who was just coming off a big Whittaker win. Now he's a sizable favorite to beat Costa, who also just had a pretty close fight with Whittaker.
His strikes sound like the movies
Shaked his hand😂what a mofo,and a international level sportsmanship!
He was still dizzy on lalala land 🤣
Even when he got knock down he did maintain eye contact
Imagine actually fighting Pereira. Nah man. Much respect to these fighters out here getting knocked out left and right .
This pushed Sean to become a champion
😂😂😂😂 yeah bro wasn’t motivated before at all he didn’t try till he lost to alex 😂😂😂😂
No it really didn't. Izzy has bad boxing and would always lose to sean in that type of fight. Hence why Caio borralho predicted it to a tee stating sean "does it all the time in training" against "high level kickboxers".
@@weewoo2242 you missed the point. He took this loss as fuel and won a belt after. It doesn’t matter what level Izzy’s boxing is at
@@steve0the0end ur such a cornball bro 😂😂😂
@@weewoo2242yet he knocked out Whittaker, Costa, and Alex with punches. And lot of high level kickboxers too. Izzy couldn’t even hit Sean with a kick. They were all checked. Sean is just that good.
The fuck at the end after shaking his hand got me
Wtf his bones are made of
Stone
He must have incredibly dense bones. Thats why he still looks kinda skinny at 235 pounds.
Adamantium
I love Sean and Alex , it’s great to know they became friend and sparring partners .
Still one of the funniest KOs ever. Strickland really thought he could just march into Pereira, lmao.
To be fair, that's how he fights everyone. Little late in his career for a complete stylistic overhaul for one fighter. At this point they are who they are in the cage.
Bro's left hook is leased directly from the Grim Reaper.
Brazilian Bomber !!!! I love how humble Alex is !!!!!
Pereira power and precision it's crazy man
Big mouth go humble soooo fast😂😂😂😂
Chama ! 🤲 ✊
Ma Châ ALLAH Brazil ! 🇧🇷
That impact at the angle of that left is sick
Seeing it from this angle makes it look even more brutal.
Smart taking glover on as a coach too. His standup game is impeccable, all he needed to do was work on tdd and ground game. Which glover was the best at in the LHW division until his retirement.
Bro he actually punched through Sean 😵💫
Wish we had an option to turn the commentary off.
Volume/mute?
The best part of this is that Sean went right to train with Glover and Alex after this. Cant beat them, join them.
Stopped a lil too soon his legs were perfectly flexed in a defensive position and plus he lowkey caught his fall
That left hook always works
Alhamdulillah. . . Respect and love for Ales Pereira
Sean way underestimated dudes striking.
And now they train together, respect
Sean just can't walk up to an assassin like Alex , it works, for everybody else's 😂
Stockton slap from the Diaz brothers 😅😂😅 good application
Sounded like someones knees falling off a building
Fair play to the Sean, he took a huge uppercut hook .. classic pereira punch very well..
That guy’s power and skill is amazing to be so new wow khazmat needs to fight him .
Is this Sean's promo video for the upcoming fight at ufc 302?
😂😂😂
Unreal precision.
Good God Alex I love both of these Fighters two of the realest in the game you have to hit him that f****** hard
Damn izzy deserve the credits to fight this specimen ....wow...what a power 🔥
4 times
Power difference 😅
Anthony Smith is lucky that he will meet Poatan in grappling match or else he would also ate that left hook.
Pereira isn't even extending his left arm all the way and still got power
Sean keys dropping his hands walked into it ,two off my fighters
I like Alex more, but Sean is a beast too. He was disappointed with himself. & I'm sure he'll come back strong.
That sound💥
That brain did bounced off the skull wall
Strickland got humbled for sure !!!
But that’s what will make him better and fight smarter !!! 👍
He actually went to spar with Pereira after this
Pereira is from the streets of Favela 😂
He's on the way different level than the guy he's fighting
Sean started having flashbacks from when his dad used to beat him 😂
The guy cracks 👊🤌
That was beautiful
You have to give it to Sean , most people die from that punch
I like how he says F*CK LOL
I love when he walked away and yelled fuck I’ve had that moment at jiu-jitsu tournaments. It’s not a good feeling.
At that moment he realised he wasn’t fighting Sneako !
That’s big of Sean to concede after that.😊 his is possible one of a score of few who has been there and had the privilege of feeling the power of Alex.
One the best striker in UFC😮Brazilian guy
Shit sounded like someone slammed a car door 😂
Pereira really is a titan!!
He got hit so hard all he wanted to do is shake his hand 😂
The Best Alex Pereira❤
Alex tiene la mejor pegada del la ufc 😅
When Alex Pereira is Calculated, relaxed, and letting the clock run, bros literally unstoppable. when he fought Izzy for the second time I told my homies “ if Alex rushes in for the kill he’s gonna get slept” sure enough I was right. 5 rounds calm and collected his low kicks would’ve chopped izzy down. Hopefully we get that trilogy someday at LHW.
BROOO that literally sounded like someone had to pick a heavy box and throw it at him 😭
Sean is a proper bloke
O'Malley is yeah
Both men are gangsters.
this is sportsmanship!
I always liked it without commentary,
Commentary is like you are getting filtered fight of someone else's thoughts, experiences ect.
إرحمو من في الأرض يرحمكم من في السماء والله يجازيكم ويعود مثل سابق عهده
Wins aged so well
walks right up to him, 100% squared up with zero defensive awareness
He got nock the freak out
I thought i saw John cena on the sidelines 😮!! 😂😂
Like to see the teachers facial reaction to that punch
Cage camera man doing the double take after TKO.
1.Probably shouldn't.. I feel bad!
2.It's my job!
Like a ball whip
That was expected, sean had no guard up
Sean call it " the punch of death".
Doc: Strickland how many fingers do you see?
Strickland: I can see the galaxy
I feel like we’re getting finessed 👀
Sounds like a homerun😮
Freaking tuff man. I would been on the ground crying like a bitch if I got hit like that 😭😭😭
Alex step to the side and boom a left. Sean maybe didnt see that coming cuz of the pain from the kick
Notice Sean wasn’t yappin this fight he was locked in until he got clocked out
No one expects a hard left hand like that
He got his ass whooped. Strickland looked scared the entire fight.
