I'm a spiritual american and I watch this video often and it always fills my heart with god's love. Sufi poetry feels like god's word. Watching this video feels like going to church/temple/masjid. Then I read the comments from hindus and jews and muslims and my heart swells with joy at the love expressed for all beings regardless of faith by the commenters. ALHAMDULILLAH Ir-Rabil Al Ameen, I did my Shahadah in Iraq August 28, 2003(20 years later). One of the reasons (aside from Reading Al-Qur'an Kareem 32 times) was this brother's song, El-Hajj Malik Shabazz(Malcolm X), The life of Nabbi Muhammed (SAAW), the G.O.A.T Heavy Weight Boxer Muhammed Ali, Sheikh Ahmad Deedat, Khalid IBN Walid, Sultan SALAHUDIN Ayoubi, Sultan Mansa Musa, Sultan Suleiman, Ibrahim, Musa, and all of the prophets. You should have seen the face of the Pakistani man at the corner grocery store when I told him that I find very beautiful the voice of UNFAK. A man of my age. We were totally agree on this evidence. His eyes were saying: "God bless him !". We had a few seconds of silence in total harmony, deep admiration and respect for UNFAK. ☮💟

I saw Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and party in 1993 in Granville Town Hall in suburban Sydney, Australia. It was exactly like this - unbelievably powerful, like being witness to magic. the audience was totally transfixed, totally hypnotised by this performance, which went late into the night. Undoubtedly one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen.

I'm a spiritual american and I watch this video often and it always fills my heart with god's love. Sufi poetry feels like god's word. Watching this video feels like going to church/temple/masjid. Then I read the comments from hindus and jews and muslims and my heart swells with joy at the love expressed for all beings regardless of faith by the commenters. Thank you for the love and I give it right back to you, my brothers and sisters. And thank you Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, PBUH.

I saw this qawwal party in Toronto in the 90s. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was beyond sublime. He indeed is the lion of qawwal. What a voice!

I remember listening to this song on TV in NYC on the Indo-Pakistani Channel when I was 8. When I found out the lyrics of this song, it made me cry. ALHAMDULILLAH Ir-Rabil Al Ameen, I did my Shahadah in Iraq August 28, 2003(20 years later). One of the reasons (aside from Reading Al-Qur'an Kareem 32 times) was this brother's song, El-Hajj Malik Shabazz(Malcolm X), The life of Nabbi Muhammed (SAAW), the G.O.A.T Heavy Weight Boxer Muhammed Ali, Sheikh Ahmad Deedat, Khalid IBN Walid, Sultan SALAHUDIN Ayoubi, Sultan Mansa Musa, Sultan Suleiman, Ibrahim, Musa, and all of the prophets. The list is longer, but this brother was 1 of the 1st to introduce me to the beauty of Islam in song. May ALLAH (SWT) forgive his sins, have mercy on his soul & grant him Jannah.

I am a fanatic of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan saheb’s singing, since I ever came to know about him some 30 years back and not a day passes since then without listening to him!

I saw Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and party in 1993 in Granville Town Hall in suburban Sydney, Australia. It was exactly like this - unbelievably powerful, like being witness to magic. the audience was totally transfixed, totally hypnotised by this performance, which went late into the night. Undoubtedly one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen.
