I met veer Nusrat ji on his first tour of England shook his hand during the break and told him my family originates from Hoshiarpur in East Panjab, Ustad ji smiled and mentioned that they hail from Jalandhar! All of us Indian and Pakistani people were thirty for music and songs of our ancestral land, Khan Sahib revived the traditions of Panjabi and Urdu and gave them a new lease of life that will live on for all time to come ! God bless his soul and that of all people listening and those who haven't too! Lots of love to all !

I wish I was old enough to see Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan live. I didn't get the chance unfortunately, I was only 4 when he passed. However, this video is amazing. Not only is Ustad Ji improvising his parts, but Ustad Tari Khan is able to anticipate and keep up so well. This is truly amazing, it's so much more difficult to react than to come up with your own patterns. Thank you for uploading this, this is amazing.
