Damn how i do miss my childhood. Thank you to whomever uploaded this. I remember watching this, miss switch damn how time flies by so fast. The 80s were the best times to grow up as a kid while the early to late 90's weren't so bad.
After these messages... will be riiight back! 🐎Splat! I'm sooo thankful for my Generation X mom who taught me to appreciate all the things that were before my time! This awesome movie is just one of many. Another show mom introduced me to (that I came to love❤️) is the inspiration behind my UA-cam name! 😁
3:00 That's beautiful Belgian horse. I'm sure he'll be a great sturdy mount for their Mother ride all the way to the Midwife. Those horses have a nice wide soft back so she can ride side-saddle comfortably, with the harness on she can hold onto the hames for support also their very calm and gentle giants
I like to imagine the parents are saying to each other-Dad:”Ready, Mary Jane?” Mom:”Whenever you are, Jim,” as they bid 14-year-old Albie and 8-year old Sarah goodbye. Can’t blame little Sarah for wishing their new sibling will “hurry up and get born,” so their parents can return soon. Saw this when it premiered in January 1984, I was 14 going on 15, about as old as Albie is supposed to be.
I have this on DVD. Great special. The actors in this are comparatively unknown, but you might know Richard Donat, who plays the father. He's the nephew of the great Robert Donat from "The Thirty-Nine Steps".
I could watch this over and over again... Miss the 80's! Thank you for filling in my memories of this movie, Frank! :)
This, thundercats, transformers, voltron oh how i can go on and on. How i miss the good ol days of growing up in the 80s

Thanks so much for this Frank!! I had very faint memories of this as a kid, and was so happy to find it again.

@15.26: Sarah's scream might be the most shocking, bloodcurdling thing I've ever heard in my life!!
That title has unfortunate meanings today.
