Thanks for the video! I just got my endorsement this past week and am going to a RE dealer next week to look at their selection of 350's. I'm going to wind up with a garage full of Royal Enfields if I keep watching your videos though! 😆 They just have such great styling.
I had a Triumph T100. Loved that bike. 900 Street Twin is a beautiful machine too. Go to the dealer and take a long test ride on the Shotgun. It's a fabulous bike. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these two bikes.
i currently ride meteor350. toured the himalayas with it. i love this motorcycle. looks great. its perfect step-up for me. perfect for city and commutes. but will need himalayan450 for long distance touring.
I was very comfortable at speed. No wind protection on this bike so you are in it but I slide back on the seat and did well. I wear an HJC i90 helmet, minimal buffeting. Good question, thanks. Wahoo!
I am pretty sure that is a rack for the Super Meteor. You can see in the video at 2:44 that the rear mount point that would normally go to a fender stay bracket or some sort of cross bar over the fender. I have a set of saddle bag stays on the way from India I ordered from ebay for 62 dollars. They mount to both bikes.
The Shotgun is without a doubt the RE model I'd buy.
Great motorcycle, for sure!
I'm still stubbornly holding out for a Classic 650, but the Shotgun is growing on me.
I understand but life is short...Wahoo!
First time I ever saw mirrors below the bars was on the Honda ST1100. They worked great. The Shotgun is growing on me.
Great looking mirrors but kinda hard to see with them. Wahoo!

You'll love the 350 and yes, you'll end up with several...I did. Wahoo!
it is beautiful...did you feel the handlebar could have been a bit rear set, so the arms didn't have to be stretched too far?
Only at the beginning of the ride. As I got used to the bars I grew to like them in this stock form. Wahoo!
Would you pick this over a 900 street twin ? I have a 2018 one which I love but I love shotguns design !

All the RE 350's are fabulous motorcycles. I rode my 350 classic many miles today. Wahoo!
Thanks for the review. How is the wind buffeting at highway speeds?

Nice bike. What mileage did you get on your ride?
Think I averaged just over 50 miles a gallon.
@@thefuzzybiker171 Thanks.

What luggage rack/bag system is that?
Bags are Military style by RE, not sure about the rack system. Contact Jeremy at Baxtercycle.com He should be able to help you out. Wahoo!
