He willingly accepted his death. both funerals were exactly at same time 25 miles apart. there was no question I would be going to my mothers funeral. but if it hadnt been my mother that died of cancer and another member of the family. I would still go to the one that died from no fault of their own.

Metal musician here, just want to give some context to things. The reason they tuned their instruments down is not due to the "heaviness" factor (although that's undoubtedly a side-effect) but mainly for the fact that Vince could have an easier time singing and not struggle to hit those higher notes. Many bands of this era did it for that reason, and as time went on, down-tuning guitars/bass became a permanent thing in Metal.
Same reason why Megadeth started to down tune in recent years because Mustaine cannot reach as high as he could before and even more since he had his throat cancer

Live Wire was such a clever, well-written song..and the 4 members of Motley Crue were the perfect group to deliver it in the way that would give it life. The moon and the stars were all aligned that day, because it was the same day a legacy was born that was about to change the world.

The one thing I loved about this was it took me back to when this record was released and virt7ally mobody here on the East coast knew who they were. I went to school with a chick from LA named Rebecca, and she introduced me to tons of bands. Early Motley acruebwas a powerful thing. Too Fast For Love and Maiden's Killers were life changing events for me.
