I feel sad for Derrick Coleman. He was one of my faves back in the 90s, great versatility. He can power his way to the post, and has a reliable outside shot that extends all the way beyond the arc. Had he been more dedicated in self-conditioning, he could have been amongst the elite power forwards in the NBA - all time.
Slightly underrated playoff series. Nets needed competent spot up three point shooters. Kenny Anderson was a good point guard but he was no Kevin Johnson or John Stockton. Derrick Coleman was tough enough but didn’t play up to his true potential in his career.
Good series I was at both games. I miss this era of defense. No zone, you had to man up or get a technical. They need to ban the zone again and bring back hand checking. Game is too fast, it’s just NBA Jam at this point.

Nets won 4 out of 5 games at the regular season, so some of thinks their can be upset, but NY was too strong at this Era.
