I’m so happy that you guys discussed the importance of Big Bang to k-pop. Speaking for someone who gotten into k-pop back in 2008-2009, I was a huge fan of Big Bang because of the trends they set! It wasn’t a norm to write your own music in k-pop. As people know it was low key criticized that k-pop was like a factory popping out idols to fit the companies image and couldn’t do the music they pleased. Big Bang was the first idol group to have their own sound and color by producing their own music and also changed the fashion trends etc! A lot of artists including many BTS members were in awe of BB and followed their path of producing the music they want. The reason why I bring this up is now a days the fandom wars are so beyond me since so many new people are getting into it without knowing the artists that came before them. People talk about how BTS is the biggest/best k-pop group etc in history and paved the way for kpop In America or whatever which I’m not saying isn’t true but at the same time, BTS is here because of BB. A lot of them talk about how it was BB who inspired them to get into music etc. before they even took a break to do their military service, they were still topping all the charts and winning all the awards beating BTS even when they started to get big with their songs I need u and fire (2015-2016). They were also one of the first groups to get big in the US other than Wonder Girls at the time. Justin Bieber and other artists were friends with GD as well so if you really think about it, BB paved the way originally for artist to make it in America. Once Big Bang was gone, BTS killed it from 2017-2022, but that doesn’t change the fact that BB paved the way regardless if you hate them or not. I just hate that every new k-pop fan gives too much credit to BTS because of their recent achievements the last couple years when it was BB who paved the way for k-pop idols in general. As we see BB top the charts without promotion just shows to everyone how important they are to not only their fans but other artists!

After more than 4 years of hiatus, with all of the issues, the haters. No promotion. This song still got alot of achivements and I believe this is the prove that they are still a LEGEND! I'm not really educated when it comes to kpop becuz I only got into in 2018 but when I did it was YG Artists. There are a lot of artists too but YG Artist really have this side to them that ONLY YG artists has. It's special it's what makes them sooo unique and amazing. For the first time a kpop song made me cry so hard n = it's Still Life by Bigbang. Bigbang and 2ne1 really made me shed tears when I listen to their song. I can really see the impact that Bigbang has on their juniors but not only that even other idols and other people too outside of yg. I've watched most of the popular variety shows in korea and every single one they always mention Bigbang like always. Even artists today like BTS look up to Bigbang since b4 debut and I really love the huge impact they had.... still have on idols and ppl in general today. N It will only continue on...what makes me happy is that Yg sent out a statement saying this is not the end of Bigbang. May their legacy and everything they did continue to be an inspiration to all n may their future be as successful as it is today. Love u Bigbang💛
One thing I can't help but be proud of as an Asian, especially an East Asian in general, is the respect that we pay to those who have come before us. We acknowledge our elders, seniors, and ancestors bc we know we wouldn't be where we are without them. I think that's why this reaction was so precious and emotional to me. It's so obvious, the respect and the tribute they are more than happy to give to Bigbang.

I grew up with BIGBANG, spending all of my teenage years with them and now I'm slowly nearing 30. I spent half of my life with them and they are so important to me that it's hard to explain to someone who never felt that way about other people. Seeing the kids of Treasure cry made me emotional again because Treasure is one of my favorite 4th Gen groups and I know they grew up loving BIGBANG and respect them. I rewatched this music video over and over again, and over and over again cried, this is not a song, this is their feeling, and successfully conveyed, the feeling of loss when hearing this song, without even knowing the meaning of the song. no matter how good the current kpop group is, Bigbang has never been replaced, they are true idols and musicians, each of whose songs is able to move listeners' feelings. no matter how many storms hit YG, I will be there to support them, all of this because of the big bang.

I think for anyone who has followed Big Bang's journey from the beginning, and knowing what these guys have gone through, this song hits hard. I totally agree with all of the emotions you guys feel because I feel the same way! I'm so thankful I got to see them preform at the YG concert when I was still working in Korea many years ago. Their music has helped me get though the ups and downs of everyday, and I am so thankful to them for that. This song still makes me tear up. I spent the day re-listening to all of their old songs and then the new one right after and it just really hits you in the feels.

I'm not really educated when it comes to kpop becuz I only got into in 2018 but when I did it was YG Artists. There are a lot of artists too but YG Artist really have this side to them that ONLY YG artists has. It's special it's what makes them sooo unique and amazing. For the first time a kpop song made me cry so hard n = it's Still Life by Bigbang. Bigbang and 2ne1 really made me shed tears when I listen to their song. I can really see the impact that Bigbang has on their juniors but not only that even other idols and other people too outside of yg. I've watched most of the popular variety shows in korea and every single one they always mention Bigbang like always. Even artists today like BTS look up to Bigbang since b4 debut and I really love the huge impact they had.... still have on idols and ppl in general today. N It will only continue on...what makes me happy is that Yg sent out a statement saying this is not the end of Bigbang. May their legacy and everything they did continue to be an inspiration to all n may their future be as successful as it is today. Love u Bigbang💛

One thing I can't help but be proud of as an Asian, especially an East Asian in general, is the respect that we pay to those who have come before us. We acknowledge our elders, seniors, and ancestors bc we know we wouldn't be where we are without them. I think that's why this reaction was so precious and emotional to me. I grew up with BIGBANG, spending all of my teenage years with them and now I'm slowly nearing 30. I spent half of my life with them and they are so important to me that it's hard to explain to someone who never felt that way about other people. Truly, haters and the media can say what they want but it doesn't change the fact that their impact is unbeatable. Seeing the kids of Treasure cry made me emotional again because Treasure is one of my favorite 4th Gen groups and I know they grew up loving BIGBANG and respect them. Sending all of the virtual hugs to Yoshi and Haruto.

I think for anyone who has followed Big Bang's journey from the beginning, and knowing what these guys have gone through, this song hits hard. I totally agree with all of the emotions you guys feel because I feel the same way! I'm so thankful I got to see them preform at the YG concert when I was still working in Korea many years ago. Their music has helped me get though the ups and downs of everyday, and I am so thankful to them for that. This song still makes me tear up. I spent the day re-listening to all of their old songs and then the new one right after and it just really hits you in the feels.
