Happy Friday Diane💕 Fabulous idea and I love how you are growing your strawberries. I will share this with hubby for sure. Have a awesome weekend, take good care. 🤗Big hugs
Thanks Celeste! Haven't been in the craft room in a few days because ... well, gardening lol. Sorry for taking so long to respond. Yes! I love my greenstalk planter. I just ordered another one for Mother's day ... it's PINK! They run a big sale every year for Mother's day so I get a great discount. These planters are amazing. Tell hubs you want one! I hope you had a beautiful Mothers day my friend. Big Hugs
Hey Diane, you're so cute! I can't believe you have strawberries ripe already, wow I am so impressed. I heard the banana peels were really good for roses. We are still under a flood watch, thank goodness we are dry for now. We just feel so sorry for the folks who have lost everything, and the snakes & alligators are roaming the streets up there. Have a fun day Big Hugs Sandie.
Haha, thank you so much Sandie. I'm impressed too, lol ... I've never grown them before so I didn't know what to expect. Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry you are having to go through that. I feel bad for them too. It's such a mess they're having to deal with. So very sad. Have a beautiful day sweet friend! Big Hugs
The strawberry was beautiful and it looked so good! I'm making banana tea today! We need rain so badly here. Florida is very dry right now...praying for rain!💐
It was so delicious! I've never had an actual "home grown" strawberry and they're so different from store bought. I think I will always grow them from here on out. Yes! Banana tea is easy to make and so good for your plants and flowers. Praying for rain with you, my friend.
Thanks for this, and especially what to do with the exhausted banana peels. And I love your enthusiasm. It's true, it's amazing what can come out of a seed! Can you tell me how long you steep the banana tea for?
Hey friend ... I'm so sorry for taking so long to respond ... it's been a super busy couple of weeks. I usually answer a lot faster, just got really behind. It's my pleasure! Aww, thanks. I'm just in awe of those tiny little seeds and what they produce! I generally steep it for 2 or 3 days, but I have gone for as long as a week and it's fine. I just get to it when I get to it ... but my plants really seem to love it! Hope you try it out! Let me know if I can help
This is genius. I’m making banana tea today. Can you use it as a fertilizer on flowers or is it just for veggies and herbs? Thanks for sharing your garden with us! Hugs 🤗 ❤🐩
Yes you can! It can be for everything! It's not a complete fertilizer, but it gives them lots of good things. Aww, thanks for sharing it with me sweet friend. I'm having so much fun with it.
