This is the 3rd video I watched by you and I can relate to you in many ways. I recently commented on a post you made about 3 type hair not being afro hair and I didn't fully understand where you were coming from and didn't agree. Watching more of your videos has given me a different perspective of you and made it a little easier to understand where you are coming from. Anyway, I know you get told you are beautiful all day long but seeing your face with your hair type is really just amazing. Growing up (I'm a bit older than you) I remember looking at Mariah Carey and wondering why I didn't get hair like that. I remember thinking it was unfair that my hair was stiff and I couldn't just wash brush and leave like I imagined she could. Now that I'm older and times have changed I have learned more to appreciate my hair even though I still get frustrated. Watching you have patience with and embrace your hair makes me realize how I should have had much more patience with mine and I would have enjoyed it more.
You have to learn to embrace what God gave you. Type 4 hair is beautiful because it’s the only hair that reaches for the universe even when it’s long, it’s not about wanting straight hair on onion ring curls. You have to understand your hair and I would read into hair porosity if I were you that would give you further direction of what products to use for your hair to make the wash day process and detangling process easiest.

Very very cute low puff and the pins are too cute💚 Good job and a nice medium bristle brush will really help the smoothing but the Snapple’s really helped smooth it. The times Ive used them for my puffs they did good, love it!

I wanted to know if you still consider yourself as 4c. Since you have started your hair care journey, your hair has really flourished and it seems like your moisture balance is really good which is bringing out your curl definition more even when your hair is dry. It looks looser than 4c to me so I wanted to know what you think since you deal with your hair and can see it in real life when it’s wet and dry. I know you’ve tried a wash and go a while ago but I think if you used a good gel and shingled it, you’d have way more definition. I love a fluffy Afro too so I’m not trying to get you to wear your curls defined or tell you what your hair type is; I’m just wondering if from then to now, do you still view your hair the same way?
