Elizabeth of York is my most favourite woman in history. BUT I am a Tudor Geek … named after Elizabeth I of England and my second name after her mother, Queen Anne Boleyn.
Elizabeth Tudor was named after Elizabeth of York, who was her grandmother, not the other way, as you have stated .equally Anne Bolyens' mother was Elizabeth Howard
@@stevenleppard1072I don't think she was suggesting Elizabeth of York was named after Elizabeth I. I think she was saying that she, the commenter, was named after Elizabeth I and her middle name after Anne Boelyn. But her favorite historical figure is Elizabeth of York. She was making no assertions about historical fact.
@susn4002 ah ok its how it reads. Elizabeth of York should have been Queen in her own right and first Queen to reign and rule England in her own right if you don't count Matilda, the daughter of Henry I. It's why Henry Tudor married her to bolster his claim yo English Crown, as he had no actual genuine claim to the crown.
@stevenleppard1072 you was reading to fast I suppose
My name is Elizabeth Anne, too.I always make sre I tell people,it’s Anne, with an E.My favourite is Catherine Parr. She was obviously a very kind, wise woman. It’s such a pity, that after Henry died, she finally married the man she would have married,if Henry hadn’t claimed her.And very sadly she died in childbirth.
I read Henry VIII was responsible for 70,000 beheadings during his reign as you advise. Such a bloody jolly bloke
There's been a few times I was sitting on the porcelain Throne I felt like I was dying 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Don't forget, his great great grand uncle Richard III had scoliosis too.
They were not related by blood, so it was not inherited.
@@dainethompson6531 thanks for that. After I posted that I was sitting there going "wait a minute..."
Does this woman have other channels? I used to have other channels with her voice
@@Mr.Blonde92 I believe it was Her Remarkable History.
@@dianadeedy1025 thats it! Thank you so much
I am so glad to hear Louis the XVI confide he was innocent. His head still came off.
Mary had one of my Grandfather's- a Protestant Archbishop- burned at the stake .
Mine as well, allegedly he was the first person she had burned at the stake. In Smithfield I believe.
😢
What happened to the Marie Antoinette section? There’s 2 Louis XVI’s parts instead.
I think they lopped her head off. Wack!plop !

There shouldn’t be any confusion about why Henry the eighth died. He was overweight for 40 years and suffering nasty disgusting boils and infection that stunk. I don’t see how he had so many wives he died because he was fat and his heart couldn’t take it. He was infected and his heart couldn’t take that either they left him for days after he died, and he puffed up and blow it up in the sun as he exploded
@@heatherbarbourstonebarger1258What? He exploded? Lol! I don't know about that. But he did lean on Christ Jesus which meant he excepted his imperfections and he is now in God's judgement. May he have mercy on his soul as well as mine. Amen!
I am enjoying these videos, however, on this one, too much time was spent reiterating King Louis’ info when it came time to talk about Marie Antoinette’s right after. Actually, having finished this, Marie’s’s details weren’t even discussed
I think his behaviour after the fall, was probably due in part to want other people to suffer. 2:46
Henry VIII portraits remind me of King Robert Baratheon.
Remind me of Charles Laughton.
What about Marie Antoinette? The Louis XVl story was told twice.
Sounds like Edward had some type of infection, the possible treatments may have accelerated his passing.
What happened to the queen's information at the end? all we heard about was Louis' repeated. wanted to hear about her. you did her a much misjudgement!
I was wondering the same thing.
Did they do a death mask of Henry VIII?
Why two exact same story about Louie the 16th
Why did you tell the Louis story twice?
So sorry, my mistake.
Mary could also have had coeliac disease.
I feel like this video was clickbait. You were supposed to be showing images of the postmortem, which you didn't show any of
Unless someone was there with a paintbrush it's doubtful there is any
Did she say anything about showing their post-mortem pictures?
Did they have oil painter on hand to paint the images?
Doesn't say anything about images..
What was she meant to do? Go back in time with a camera?
How? There were no way for photographs to be taken back then? All they had were written accounts from witnesses and that is what she is relaying that information
Kings of the team again and I will probably smoke a cigarette too.
It has never been proven that Elizabeth’s brothers were murdered in the tower and especially that it was ordered by Richard III
True.
Edward the vi was named after Edward the confessor stupid auto correct
Edward the Confessor
He was NOT. He was named after his G.Grandfather, Edward 1Vth. It's Confessor not Conference!!!!
@@deancm1 you nailed it stupid typo
Henry the 8th had a horrible wound on his thigh somewhere or is which was the horse that fell on him I think he may have I think he may have had diabetes Type 2No way to cure it You know diabetes type 2 has a possibility of a cure nowadays And Henry the 8th probably smell bad they didn't bathe Their clothes had bugs in them fleas
Do not like AI narrator
Not an AI narrator, it's always been me. We've never used AI and never will.
@@OffWithOurHeadI don't know how they thought it was AI doesn't even sound like AI. AI has no character or even mispronounces words and other obvious tone changes and etc. You're doing a great job and very intriguing and a nice voice!
It would be ironic and hilarious if this comment was from a bot account
