I agree with you about the 90's test track, it was realistic to show you how they test cars, 2.0 was a joke lets do it cheaper everybody will love it, NOT!
The last time i went to a disney night parade was Spectromagic never went to MK since then when it had a night parade. Hoping so much it can reach even a portion of Spectromagic.
One thing about the solar trashcans, where are people going to ear and drink? If we use the cans as we always do (cause there's no tables) then the solar panels will be covered up.
My immediate thought was "I eat on top of the trash bins. I hope they don't change them all." Also, so happy Dinosaur isn't closing for a while longer. I will definitely ride it again when I visit AK in Feb-ish.
The last time I was in Epcot we were waiting in the queue and I noticed a whole piece of track that was NOT supported by its intended foundation (you could see the concrete was broken) and the whole track was way over flexing every time a car went over it. That’s why it’s down for so long. Severe architectural failures
I don’t know if it’s really going to happen but I hope Disneyland Paris does bring back Space Mountain From the Earth to the Moon for its 30th anniversary celebration because that was the attraction that saved the park from bankruptcy in 1995.
Spectro and Tapestry of Nations will always be my favorite parades I actually enjoyed the car design experience and have a collection with all 5 (2 or 3 balanced designs) but the “story” was meh so 🤞🏼 we get the best of both worlds
I definitely prefer the original test track. It actually had thought and imageneering behind it. Test track 2.0 was a high school project that name true. Haven't been to Disney in over 10 years and will be there next year and it's sad test track won't be open yet. After that it looks like Disney will be under construction all over the place, Epic looks like a good place to try
What about Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular? It’s been there since the park opened. In fact, Kevin, now an announcer and trainer of incoming stunt performers, was the original Stunt man for the show and was invited to the premiere of the latest Indiana Jones film.
Disney's approach to projects in their parks seems to have less to do with dependable timeframes and schedules, and more to do with an attitude of "We'll get to it when we get to it. Whatever". Any timeframe projections they make when first announcing projects should be taken with a grain of salt.
The 2025 updates for Walt Disney World sound absolutely magical! While saying goodbye to DINOSAUR will be bittersweet, it’s exciting to see what new adventures Disney has in store for us. The continuous innovation and creativity at Disney parks never fail to amaze, and 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year for visitors. It’s wonderful to see the parks evolve while maintaining the magic that keeps fans returning year after year. Can’t wait to explore all the new attractions and experiences when they open!
See you pointed out something that I’ve been complaining about for over 20 years, they need a better maintenance schedule. There’s no good reason for a pine tree to be growing out of the Millennium Falcon, none. These parks used to have daily inspections and refurbishments…DAILY! Why is it so hard for current Disney management to understand that people notice this stuff? Is that why they want our faces imbedded in our Smartphones all day? I come to Disney parks for a few reasons, but most importantly…to escape. These parks used to be a totally immersive experience and there are times now that they are not. Seeing broken or faded set pieces, seeing items that are in dire need of maintenance, visible construction walls (I mean they used to be obscured, now right out in the open), attractions that should be operating much better (might address the queuing issues), and lack of non-ride attractions. I mean there was a time where you could be fully entertained and not ride a single ride in any of the parks. I know, for some stupid reason, they view long lines as a sign of success. Park goers see long lines as a major inconvenience and, the savvy one at least, will skip attractions with long waits. I’m paying more than enough in admission to not spend extra money standing in line. We all spend lots of money in the parks, not to mention at Disney Springs and the resort hotels. If Disney is crying about their profits, maybe Disney needs to let go of some of their upper management staff. After all, they are the one that are supposedly responsible for the daily operations of things. I mean they take credit for all the good things, right? They’re also responsible for all the bad stuff too. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. The simplest solution to all of Disney’s current problems, stop trying so hard to beat Universal. Heck, they’re trying so hard that they’ve adopted some of their tactics. I’ve only been to Universal Orlando o e time since it opened, once. Why? Well, I’m not a big fan of roller coasters to start. Also, we visited in 1991 using free passes that my parents got because when they visited earlier in the year, most of the attractions didn’t work. Upon our visit, 2 months later, we encountered the same issue and received no return passes and not just because we had free passes for the day. No one that day received return passes. I didn’t like that the one attraction I wanted to ride had a 75 minute wait immediately after opening, as in the 7 minute walk to the ride had that many people wanting to ride it. The wait ended up being around 50 minutes and it was the last ride at the park we rode. The entire experience was over in less than 4 hours as most of the rides were inoperable. We didn’t even stay for lunch. I know that Universal has gotten better over the years, but still have no strong desire to visit. Maybe after I move back to Orlando it’ll happen. Back to Disney, they need to return to their own business model and not worry about how Universal does things. It is ruining the park goers experience. In all the years visiting Disney World (56 visits since 1974), it still is a place I hold near and dear. It is still a place that can hold “magic”. I had that from my first trip at 5 years old. Universal did not give me that feeling. When I see things that I know shouldn’t be the way they are, it peels away at the magic. I hold Disney to a higher standard because it’s what I’ve come to expect. They created an experience that was so much better than the other area theme parks, but it was only slightly more expensive. Now, it’s incredibly more expensive and I don’t get the same sense of enjoyment. That’s what needs fixing, because I wouldn’t mind the price increases if I got what I paid for. I used to get more than my money’s worth from a Disney vacation, in recent years (I’m talking over 20 at this point), it’s not worth it for me to go and be disappointed. I feel that if they can’t find a way to entice me back into their parks, and I’m a huge fan, how are they going to be able to continue to do business? Something for them to think about, I’ve got time.
It's just like Disney to announce all these lounges and rides knowing they are still far away from opening, just to make sure people remember them among all the Universal news and actual construction.
I worked at Disneyland when Space Mtn. was bring built and as a CM we got to ride it before it opened for training (I was in Merchandise). It went much faster until they adjusted the wheels before it opened.
31:46 I very much agree here. I love Dinosaur because of how janky it is, and if it were a ride at my local park, I would absolutely be up in arms about its closing. It unfortunately just isn’t up to Disney standards anymore, though I feel like it's pretty easy to forget that in Animal Kingdom, since every attraction outside of Pandora and Everest is janky. That and, like you said, attendance. Disney is a once every couple years trip for me, and my past few visits I've just skipped Animal Kingdom altogether. I understand why people are sad to see Dinoland go but it’s unfortunately overdue.
Is there a way you could add auto caption to this video, like you usually do? I would really like to watch this, as I watch every news episode. I am deaf and rely on the captions to watch your videos.
The new garbage cans are far less accessible for mobility limited users, bad move Disney. 1st DAS changes now garbage cans that are very mobility challenged user unfriendly. Please tell us how this isn’t Disney telling mobility challenged people they are no longer welcome. Don’t get me started on the new rides they could have made accessible and didn’t. 😮 Thumbs down
Don’t get me started on solar panel trash cans. My town bought a lot of these for a lot of money. They are covered by snow half the year 🤦♀️ The foot pedal…..what a great idea. If only it opened the “little” door on the trash wider. I cannot recommend these wastes of money.
*sigh* wdw........ Thought there were people covering other parks?! I loved your Japan stay. So please please cover Disneyland! Florida ...well at least Desantis may be leaving hi
If they remove the Rivers of America Riverboat Ride and Tom Sawyer's Island I will no longer come to the Magic Kingdom. I come every year with my 4 grandchildren and stay on the Disney Property. There is always the new Epic Universe opening at Universal Studios in 2025 and non Disney Hotels near Universal. Why isn't Cars located in the Hollywood Studio as it makes more sense.
It would make me sick just to walk past this ill-fitting monstrosity and how it will permanently destroy the look and feel of Frontierland. What idiots that are behind this.
Tom, I have a collection of old black glass, blue, codd and other bottles and some pottery.. 1600 -1800. All are ones I dug up myself. I would like to donate them to support any new Disney Pirates adventures. Could you help me contact someone who would be interested Thanks Dan
I was a huge fan of World of Motion. The original EPCOT attractions had such extravagant physical sets and they were filled with AA figures.
you made me smile when you read the pirates tavern in a pirate accent. good fun
I agree with you about the 90's test track, it was realistic to show you how they test cars, 2.0 was a joke lets do it cheaper everybody will love it, NOT!
I miss the Anechoic chamber.
The last time i went to a disney night parade was Spectromagic never went to MK since then when it had a night parade. Hoping so much it can reach even a portion of Spectromagic.
As always, enjoyed the content! Keep up the great work. Really looking forward to Promising Tomorrows.
Architect Here…. Guaranteed it’s happening. They would not be moving dirt otherwise
Spectromagic was our all time favorite! The music still makes us tear up. Miss so much of the old Disney World, pre 2009.
One thing about the solar trashcans, where are people going to ear and drink? If we use the cans as we always do (cause there's no tables) then the solar panels will be covered up.
You did a furly respectable pirate spiel, master Tom!
These are standard bins, we have them on our streets in the UK so it’s a bit sad to see generic bins used at Disney
I knew it! My first thought about the solar trash cans was also “Where will we eat our festival food?!!” 😅😅
I just rode Dinosaur in November for my last time probably. Glad to know it’ll be there for one more year though.
I hope the captions update soon! Rlly love WDWNT & want to take it in soon 🤞🏻
My immediate thought was "I eat on top of the trash bins. I hope they don't change them all." Also, so happy Dinosaur isn't closing for a while longer. I will definitely ride it again when I visit AK in Feb-ish.
What are you? Some kind of trash person? *That's a News Tonight reference for those who don't get it*
The last time I was in Epcot we were waiting in the queue and I noticed a whole piece of track that was NOT supported by its intended foundation (you could see the concrete was broken) and the whole track was way over flexing every time a car went over it. 22:31 Looks like a tiny pine tree. Just needs a single ornament to become a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
I don’t know if it’s really going to happen but I hope Disneyland Paris does bring back Space Mountain From the Earth to the Moon for its 30th anniversary celebration because that was the attraction that saved the park from bankruptcy in 1995.
Big Thunder is closing for a big refurb next year so as much as I'd love for it to, they'd never close both coasters in that park :(
Spectro and Tapestry of Nations will always be my favorite parades
I actually enjoyed the car design experience and have a collection with all 5 (2 or 3 balanced designs) but the “story” was meh so 🤞🏼 we get the best of both worlds
21:58 weeds? Looks more like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree 😂

Why aren’t you covering Peco Bill’s exploding poo all over Frontier Land forcing it to close.
What?
There was an article on the site about it
What!!!!
"Part of Frontierland was closed for 3 hours due to technical difficulties." Isn't exactly news. Obviously what you're saying didn't happen
What???

Original test track was awesome.
The garbage sensors do not work correctly in most existing cans, maybe better version with improvements plus solar & bigger is a winning update
Disney, please don't replace all the garbage cans 😭 I can't handle that after Muppets and Dinosaur!
Huh? They are just trash cans lol
Trashcan tier list when???

Disney doesn't have many new offerings in 2025. They will be bracing for impact when epic opens. We'll just see what happens next year
Probably not
@@WDWNT Whistling past the graveyard.
New jumbo trash cans may make the festival trash can table dining experience extinct. 😂
Whenever we go to AK, we always hit Dinosaur first. Once we were the first riders of the day. It's a good way to wake up. Lol
Part of me hopes these carnival games stick around
It's just like Disney to announce all these lounges and rides knowing they are still far away from opening, just to make sure people remember them among all the Universal news and actual construction.

Thank you for your constant commitment to what the fans really want , despite what you hear in public
The trash can seems like a good idea but the solar panel will become someone's picnic table.
Move Triceratops Spin to Toy Store Land between Slinky Dog Dash and the Restaurant and theme it to Tricky.
Is there a way you could add auto caption to this video, like you usually do? I would really like to watch this, as I watch every news episode. I am deaf and rely on the captions to watch your videos.
Have @wonderful New Year's ! // thanks
Did you mention spectro magic that wasn’t a light parade?
Spectromagic was mentioned and it was a night parade. Still my favorite parade.
I am so sad they are taking out the river
Gutting Walt Disney's classic Americana for an IP better suited just about ANYWHERE ELSE! Like a slap to his face.
Me too. It’s so sad.
Excellent Irish Pirate.
Going to miss Dakari, a Disney icon
My first thought seeing the trash can was how can I est on top of that then 😂😂😂
Where are we going to eat!?!?!? Was my first thought too when I saw the new trash cans. lol
I’m thrilled, Walt said, it was his vision that the parks would and could change.
Night time parade; the villains parade led by the headless horseman during Halloween time
That doesn’t really count. It’s just a normal parade at night not a parade with lighting.
Awesome Pirate accent!
I’m hopeful but honestly I’ll be surprised if any of this actually happens in 2025 😂
15:20 can you link the video?
ua-cam.com/video/FhBzld81P14/v-deo.htmlsi=HozwF66SQOIHa6jb
The new trashcans are literally trash... they appear to be the same solar ones they have on the streets in NYC, and those never work.
What is the 7 joke at Test Track?
The new garbage cans are far less accessible for mobility limited users, bad move Disney. 1st DAS changes now garbage cans that are very mobility challenged user unfriendly. Please tell us how this isn’t Disney telling mobility challenged people they are no longer welcome. Don’t get me started on the new rides they could have made accessible and didn’t. 😮 Thumbs down
Please, Dino Land can't close fast enough. That place just feels like a rundown fairground. It does not feel like you're in animal Kingdom.
Dinosaur should be saved
35:00 Weird that AK "retired" two lions to a "sanctuary." What does that make AK?
i would like for dinosaur to close on january 1st, 2026, giving us an actual full year to say goodbye to it
Don’t get me started on solar panel trash cans. My town bought a lot of these for a lot of money. They are covered by snow half the year 🤦♀️ The foot pedal…..what a great idea. If only it opened the “little” door on the trash wider. I cannot recommend these wastes of money.
That new trashcan has a talking feature. It will thank the guests when they have thrown away things.
Daryl and my other brother Daryl: The Bob Newhart Show?
Yes!
Tom, i would like my own plush Peg-leg Pete! Where can i get one? Are they available? Thanks!
Long gone sadly
@ i found a used one on a site, but would have had to join to buy him. Sob.
Is the world of motion reference the GM sponsorship?
I don’t think it’s that simple
They didn’t run out of the plushies they gave them all away to cast already
Where did you get the Pluto snowmans and the Donald (?) Duck green stuffed animals please? So cute.
Many years ago in Japan
*sigh* wdw........ Thought there were people covering other parks?! I loved your Japan stay. So please please cover Disneyland! Florida ...well at least Desantis may be leaving hi
sigh… you must not watch three times a week then if you think we don’t
In 87 days I’ll be coming home from Disney World!
If they remove the Rivers of America Riverboat Ride and Tom Sawyer's Island I will no longer come to the Magic Kingdom. I come every year with my 4 grandchildren and stay on the Disney Property. Yeah. You missed the Epcot parade to celebrate the Millennium.
That ran in daylight as well, so it doesn’t count
@ well, it may not count in YOUR list of parades, but it counts on millions of other’s lists of parades at a Disney Park.
Lucky leprechaun pirates
🦜 tavern of pirate
Tom, I have a collection of old black glass, blue, codd and other bottles and some pottery.. 1600 -1800. All are ones I dug up myself. I would like to donate them to support any new Disney Pirates adventures. Could you help me contact someone who would be interested Thanks Dan
No table on top of the garbage can, funny you talk about sanitary trash cans as thousands eat on top of the cans during festivals
We need the Donkey Kong POV reaction!!!
Eh, I think Tom prefers to avoid those and experience it for himself.
@ He totally does. However, he did change his tune with Zootopia opened. Not expecting a full review but a quick jab would be appreciated haha
Fine garbage analysis Tom.
First
