when i done this mantra i could feel the pain of the world and made my eyes cry; it so very powerful when i do this one. it can help to take away pain from people that very sick and also it heals feelings like arrogance, hate, desire and greed after 2 times hearing this and try i already know him like it supposed to be like this, very strange but good experience.

Buddha says to his disciples to have tolerance and appreciate the good of other religions and he also encouraged one to explore them. One of the guiding principles is to have doubts, because one can only truly understand the truth by overcoming them. When buddha is by his beside, he asked his disciples if they had doubts and encouraged them to face them. This was what caught me to believe in buddism. I was once a christian too.

To understand that things are uncertain(anicca) therefore lead to suffer (dukkha) and thus not self (anatta) is one of things that need to be recognized. It is only nature that things are uncertain, can't stay forever and bring suffers to us. Buddhism teaching doesn't say anything more than ways to accept the reality and seeing through the root which cause suffers in order to remove it. I pray the Lord Buddha for discovering the greatest wisdom and tell us about it.
As a buddhist, I am in anywhere, I do not need to attend any place , because my compassion is at the moment of what I was doing. No answer, no words is a good way to pratice, to learn more just to got into trouble. Just believe in the Sultra, Buddha is with me. I do as I was told from the Sultra which is my only Teacher.
Heart Sutra renews the faith in me that one day, maybe in this lifetime and maybe not, that humans will be able to live peacefully side by side.. once and for all. thankyou

Thank you so much for posting this. This the first Buddhist mantra I heard set to music. I heard it for the first time when I was 19 in college. I used to listen to it everyday after classes.
I agree with Curt Tigges. Not one negativity can be attributed to any of the Buddhas teachings. It's extremely difficult for our human, conditioned minds to realize how far that really goes. But it's true. However, I realize more and more that even these negative communications are merely reflections of all of us. There is not one true Buddhist practitioner who wishes harm for any living being or to "promote" it's teachings either. It's all to be found and experienced within by oneself.

I agree with Curt Tigges. Not one negativity can be attributed to any of the Buddhas teachings. It's extremely difficult for our human, conditioned minds to realize how far that really goes. But it's true. However, I realize more and more that even these negative communications are merely reflections of all of us. There is not one true Buddhist practitioner who wishes harm for any living being or to "promote" it's teachings either. It's all to be found and experienced within by oneself.
