Quite a lot of fun taking individual actions as an officer! Also I'm gonna headcanon the "rival" Zhang Liao is like a pokemon rival. On another thought maybe Lv Bu and Zhang Liao having a rivalry from clashing personality would be appropriate due to their popular portrayals.
For some reason when @SeriousTrivia was reading the officer bios I was laughing imagining him reading seriously and saying to himself “I don’t know you……”
I wanna see a play-through where ST makes a character, a fantastical version of himself in the time period, and then see the interactions he makes. The knowledge and facts about his decisions would be epic and fun to watch. Would he be a general in Sun Jian's army? Avenge his death? Would he join Liu Zhang and become sworn brothers with Zhang Ren? Would he upset the timeline by joining Tao Qian thus eliminating his reliance on Liu Bei and making a bulwark against Cao Cao in the east? It would be so fun to watch. Seems like a great game to explore that. Whatchu think ST?
This game is very fancy, I am just saddened by two things. 1: the lack of end of wu scenarios in the Jin section/events in that bit 2: No playable He Man. I wanted him (We got he da though, and he’s an envoy so he’s fancy.)
why the more Koei make ROTK the less cities are in the game? I remember the game since time of ROTK2 and ROTK3, they have many more cities, almost double.
The game flow would still be the same. The main difference is for minor lords with not a lot of land, your opportunity for getting a promotion to governor would be difficult since there wouldn't be enough territories for you to get those promotions.
The debate at then end, I don't think it "was a good try" i think debate only last 5 turns, I based this on the ui indication on the turn 5 when the "next turn cards" are no longer shown. So you were like on 10% and he was on 85% turn 4, even triple 5 would not knock him down based on the amount you did until now, and based on previous duel where you were not knock out but still lost, the loser is the one with lover hp at the end, i assume. So basically you already lost at turn 3, could argue turn 2 was already hard to get comeback from. In other words, not sure if you lose anything, but if even loosing give some free exp then there is no harm in trying, but I don't think you will win anytime soon. Stick to killing those maggots on the horse back :D
If you mean a second territory then yes, depending on which army you used to capture it, those generals will be moved there first. Then during parliament turns you can transfer generals in between your regions.
Ma Chao got captured and Pang De died too easily there. Also, those random debates would get annoying really fast, playing as a low INT officer. Game seems to need rebalancing …
Lu Bu: * breaths *
Sima Hui: "MWAHAHAHA"
2 episode under 24 hours, nice
I want the same intensity for Lore episodes 😂.. Just kidding
21:41 *Officer invited Lubu for sparring session*
23:54 *Lubu won*
Lubu: Begone, maggot
Calm down, Lubu! It's just sparring session with an officer
Can’t believe Pang De got kill by Huangfu Song in your first battle lol.
Somewhere Guan Yu felt a commotion in the force and is celebrating lol

From the wording of the event it does sounds like it is a friendly rivalry as they talk about pushing each other to become better.

Thank god I dont have to wait another day

love this series already!
Ah yes, the master of debates Lu Bu.
56:42 Ma chao’s ragdoll lmao
Lu Bu brutally mauls a 15 year old boy
Nice!
haven't tried Lu Bu yet but seems he'll be whooping everyone asses...
It would be interesting to play as Liu Yu prevent Gongsun Zan on killing you or play someone incapable like Liu Zhang make it somehow work

I wonder what it would be like to be an officer for a minor lord. How much could you influence what goes on?
The game flow would still be the same. The main difference is for minor lords with not a lot of land, your opportunity for getting a promotion to governor would be difficult since there wouldn't be enough territories for you to get those promotions.
What would Lu Bu do if he was alive and saw that the world thinks his INT score is 28? Destroy everything?
He'd remember Gao Shun chastising him that Lu Bu 'somehow always picks the wrong decision'.
Nice , i want to check , the Different RTK 8 on PS2 .
No... not my boy Pang De...
everyone pretty much a dumb dumb
lu bu go debade, lu bu lose
Cheap move by Zhang Liao at the end

Comment for the comment gods!
Farewell Luoyang, we hardly knew ye
it's weird to hearing this old BGM again 😅
Comment for the comment gods.
is there a way to force duels?
Not in battle
Pang De bros...I think I'm going to VOMIT!
when you create a second faction, does the game know to move generals between cities?
If you mean a second territory then yes, depending on which army you used to capture it, those generals will be moved there first. Then during parliament turns you can transfer generals in between your regions.
Love the commentary on this super fun game. Subbed
Just wonder, does anyone know whether this game would allow modding?
so i was planning on getting this but the thing is i have RORK14. Are these two game different enough to justify it?
Yes I think 14 is pretty different in terms of game mechanics (the supply for combat is much better)
in ROTK 14 you only play as a ruler so it's a different experience.
while its obviously not like TW3K, i am keen to play another 3K based game. would you say based on enjoyment its on a par with TW3K?
It’s different. This is more like a mix between a very basic crusader kings and something like a fire emblem for combat.

it's a debate with a rival n he doesn't need to participate
Because you skipped the judge portion after fight i will dislike you and never watch you again
