Thanks for checking out the video, much appreciated! I used to catch a lot of perch when I lived in the Adirondacks, I never ate any though surprisingly. I've heard they're good eating though, I'll have to try some on a trip this year.
I was figuring that there was going to be a bunch of people with the weather we were going to have, beautiful lake though. I'm happy as long as I don't get skunked. Thanks for checking out the video, much appreciated, tight lines.
Nice time getting out there Alan! I watched Jay's video last week. He's the Pike master! I'm heading up there at the end of this week to help Lean2Rescue put up a refurbished L2 at site 4. Hopefully I will get a little fishing in afterwards. I'm new to deliberately fishing for Pike so wish me luck. LOL! I wonder what depth they will be lurking about this time of year? Going to try some trolling with my kayak. Jeff
Thanks for checking out the video, much appreciated! I imagine that the fish would be pretty deep right now with the heat and low water levels we're experiencing this year. Thanks again, safe travels and good luck on your trip!
We got there the night of the 12th, and left the 14th. It was really hot there, I think it was in the upper 80s. Thanks for checking out the video, much appreciated!
Nice video, Alan. My brothers and I are going out there mid May for a couple nights fishing. We got the same site! We go up there often, but never in spring. Looking forward to pike, and hopefully some fat perch for a fish fry. Any suggestions on catching a mess of perch that time of year? Keep up the videos and maybe we’ll run into each other someday.
It sure is a nice lake, good luck with your trip! As far as perch, I always had luck catching them with spinners, especially with a piece of nightcrawler on the hook. Thanks for watching and stopping by to comment, very much appreciated!
I guess I was just there at the wrong time, I was there a week before you. It was just starting to get hot out. Thanks for checking out my channel and subscribing, much appreciated!
Love it up there , I’m in oswego but my family used to always go up near raquette lake every year! Swing by my channel some time. Always enjoy your videos.
Please don't be offended, I do like your videos, but mostly just narration, no personalization with your dog or girlfriend/wife and making campfire meals, setting up camp, harvesting firewood, just think your channel could have great potential, with more .
No offense taken at all, I actually appreciate your feedback. I'll work on showing more, I'm new to making videos and editing. Thank you for taking time to give advice/ constructive feedback so that I know what to work on. Most people just hit the thumbs down, without explanation. Thanks for checking out my channel, much appreciated!

@@AlansOutdoorAdventures You betcha ! I will be heading back to Maine for a week of canoe camping in about three weeks, can’t wait !
You have to go when it’s cold and bad weather to feel remote there. The fishing has been slow this spring for us too.
