    Topics explored:
    -lucid dreaming
    -the law of attraction
    -sleep paralysis
-the power of our thoughts, feelings and belief systems
    -how to manifest

Holy mf shit! Tried it and it actually worked. As a disclaimer, I am at the most skeptical point that I have ever been in my life. I somewhat recently deconverted from my religion I was raised in and am now am athiest (with some agnosticism in the mix) and a naturalist. I thought my religious skepticism might hinder me but I followed the steps and it's legit. I lost sensation in my hands and feet, then my hearing started cutting in and out, then next thing I knew I was sitting up without physically sitting up. I bailed by breathing as fast as I could because it felt so different from anything I've ever experienced before. I'm going to try again tonight and hopefully now that i know what to expect I won't bail. I want to participate in a sleep lab now lol.

@@BrianLocke The gateway process helped me. i tried mediation for 5 years i grew very little. This year i found out about the Gateway process. this was developed by Robert monroe in the 70s, studied by the CIA in the 80s. and declassified in 2003 under the freedom for information act. i can provide you with everything if you like. I have done this since about December but am now really getting to where separation is natural to me. I do want to say that if you do this you can get to the first few states. if you do this Focus 10 or Focus 12 states you can greatly enhance your life or provide amazing experiences that will be "life changing" for most. i also want to say if you go beyond this to Focus 15 or further understand you cannot take the experience back.

@@AwkwardAnthems I found this video because I am working through Monroe's 3 books right now as well as the Monroe Institute's Gateway Experience' cd set. I was interested in knowing how long it took for you to have your first successful experience? I have been working on this with 1-3 sessions per day for a couple months to no avail. My main difficulty seems to be that I drop too deep into meditative trance and lose consciousness. Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

@@AwkwardAnthems Just to let you know this is the dream state, enjoy it before it disappears. Want proof? The rapid growth of industrial & technological advances in short period of time. If you noticed a lot of things lately that are to real to be true ex. AI, the president, health care advances, self driving cars, technology, evolution of the internet, 4k, & now nuclear fusion happened so fast there you go.
What is happening with lucid dreaming is the construct can't reconcile human dreaming so there are errors like lucid dreaming. Ever why some people only dream in black & white? Well that is another construct error. Movies like Inception & Matrix which are sent from the outside to try to wake you all up & realize this is the dream state. They show you things like flying & walking through walls are only things capable in the construct. Even religious event can only happen in the construct. So you have ask yourself what is real? Kind of like your in a TV Series being watch by the real world.
Wake up because if you die in this construct, you die in the real world. Sorry to break the news. BTW if you believe this I have no clue what I am talking about & made all this up.

I've been a lucid dreamer since about 8yo. Got pissed off at a bad dream, brought it back up the next night (not sure how) and showed my tormentor in the dream that two could play at the game. Last nightmare I've ever had. Oddly, though, I rarely dream anymore, but when I do, it's still lucid.

Greg- I learned the same technique for combating nightmares (through a lucid dream). I was being chased and had this lucid thought that "the only way out is through" so I turned around and made an aggressive beeline at "the scary thing." The moment I decided to chase instead of be chased was a game changer. 💪Doesn't work in normal dreams, unfortunately! I get too caught up in the narrative.

Sleep paralysis experienced. Scared the hell out of my fiance, because while sleeping, I managed to raise my arm and point at my 'demons'.
Lucid dreaming experienced. I don't have much control, but I am aware. I've been unable to progress further. The frequency of nightmares lately is involved.

You heard a call to awaken spiritually! That's literally what so many spiritual teachings are all about (e.g. Buddhism), i.e. awakening aka enlightenment, which is the consciousness touching the bare sensations in non-resistant way and deeply realizing that what our minds think of reality is actually just a story, including the suffering. That realization happening on the deep level of sense experience leads to reduction of suffering. That, as well as commitment to compassion and helping others, is what meditation and the spiritual path are for. You got a taste of this in lucid dreaming, and it is analogous to the path you can take if you decide to pursue meditation and other techniques.

When my house caught fire when I was 9 I was sleeping my bedroom that shared a wall with the living room, which was ON FIRE at the time, and I *distinctly* recall hearing the voice of a man that I *did not* recognize tell me in a rather commanding tone to "wake up" which I did because who the hell did this voice even belong to, at which point my door flew open with my mother screaming for me to get out of the house, that it was on fire, and to run down the street to my aunt's house and have her call 911 and the fire department. After that entire ordeal I start getting to "resume" my dreams if I woke up for whatever reason but was able to go back to bed quickly enough, and about 5 or 6 years later I'd end up learning about lucid dreaming as a concept, and also realized that I'd been doing that as a way to entertain myself through my dreams for years at that point.

I'm also a lucid dreamer. In my case, I started to manifest the ability around age 7 or 8. I remember this, because I talked to my dad about it on one of our many long country walks with the dogs. He said, "it sounds like you're lucid dreaming". He'd been reading and learning about it himself as a curiosity, so it was serendipitous that I happened to ask an adult about it that knew about it and wouldn't just brush it off as nothing. He also said, "many people study and practice their whole lives and don't manage to lucid dream, so the fact you just accidentally started doing it so young is remarkable". He encouraged me to explore it more, and we'd have more talks about it.
PS How is your 7/8 year old son talking to you about lucid dreaming not a huge flashing neon sign that says, "your child might be on the spectrum", which would be missed by my father, who is also on the spectrum (as is my son, his grandson)...
I first manifested simply the awareness that I am dreaming. Shortly after that, I manifested the ability to wake myself up on demand, now that I was aware I was dreaming. I would do this simply by opening both my eyes simultaneously. The dream would sometimes fight back, and I'd have to physically open them with my fingers, which is how I would actually awaken back into this reality, with my fingers prying my eyelids open...
Later, probably around puberty, I manifested limited control over my dreams. I could summon a new monster to fight the one that was chasing me. I did Freddy vs Jason in my dreams long before Hollywood did lol. I could do the Neo (The Matrix) thing and hold up my hand to stop oncoming bullets. I can fly. In fact, I can only fly in my dreams. I can't walk. The best I can do for a 'walk', is to hover over the ground, like 'The Gentlemen' from Buffy.
Thanks again YT algorithm for landing me on your channel. Still a bit baffled how, as a longtime subscriber to Legal Eagle, I'm only now being recommended here, so late to the show :)

My two experiences with ludic dreaming were this: 1) I thought “this is cool” and then everything exploded and I woke up, 2) I just hung out with my brother in my grandmother’s living room playing like when we were kids. I really think I needed a break from the chaos of my life and how my typical dreams progress (running from something or someone trying to kill me) so I still count this as a win, especially since my grandma passed away a decade ago and I regularly think about her. Her home was a safe place for me growing up so it was nice to go back even for just a night.

Neat video. I had a near death experience when I was younger, I was strangled to the point of passing out. It was way different than most of the ones I hear people talk about. I was basically in a null space that was filled with a bright light, but it didn't hurt my eyes or anything, just sort of illuminated all of the nothingness. Super peaceful and calm all around. I never heard any voices or saw anyone, just chilled for a while before I came back to reality. That was the only shitty part, it was like being slammed back into my body. Woke up on the ground hurting pretty bad (which makes sense, I was nearly killed).
Had nightmares for a long time after that, now I rarely remember any of my dreams at all. I'm not too upset about that, probably a natural defense mechanism that came up to block all of the bad things going on in my brain. Whenever I do remember a dream, it's usually pretty unsettling, so it's probably for the best that I don't often recall anything.

I read Monroe's books in the late 90s. I was able to visit The Monroe Institute in October of 2004. I met Joe McMoneagle, who worked with the CIA on Project Stargate during the cold war. I had some success with the Hemi-Sync technology during the Gateway Voyage experience, but realized that I would probably need more time with it than a mere week-long visit could bring. I'm hoping I can re-visit it the coming years, and reassess my original visit and see what improvements can be made.
I have yet to induce another obe, or near-obe experience, but your video has re-awakened my interest. As I'm 57, it would be helpful to reacquaint myself with the phenomenon as I'm getting older, for obvious reasons.

Most people think that there are two versions of the universe -- the universe they perceive, and the universe that is.
That’s not complete. Really, there are three versions of the universe:
    1. The universe that is.
    2. The universe we consciously model.
    3. The universe we unconsciously model.
That third one, the model of the universe generated by the unconscious mind, is what I call the "spiritual domain".
The structure of the spiritual domain is filled with information taken from the senses (the universe that is), and from what we deduce logically (the universe we consciously model). Thus, the spiritual domain resembles the “real” world in many ways.
Of course, there’s a lot in the spiritual domain that is grossly alien to the other two versions of the universe. This comes about because the activities of unconscious parts of the mind are mapped to tangible objects in the spiritual domain.
If you consider the parts of the mind like a group of people in a meeting deciding what to do, the spiritual domain is their whiteboard.
If you’ve ever had the displeasure of being in such a meeting, you’ll know how disconnected from reality the contents of those whiteboards can become. The flow of ideas can seem almost random.
Sometimes amazing things can come out, but it’s often difficult to explain how. Since most people struggle to interrogate individual parts of their minds, it’s often quite difficult or impossible to determine why a given entity was/is present in the spiritual domain.
    ___
There are three main ways I know of that people directly experience the spiritual domain, ordered here by ease of access:
    1. Dreaming (I’d put Lucid OBEs as described in the video in this category)
    2. Psychedelic compounds
    3. Deep meditative states
Each of these techniques has an abundance of literature about it that I cannot hope to fairly summarize here, so I’ll just call out a few points of interest.
    Dreaming:
The most undeniable proof of the existence of the spiritual domain. Incredibly difficult to study because there’s no known way to dream on-demand, and you can’t “repeat” dreams on purpose to study slight variations in stimulus.
    Psychedelics:
Early research on psychedelics and the spiritual domain was promising but has been largely stalled for the past half-century due to the US criminalizing of most of the promising compounds (notably DMT) with the Controlled Substances Act of 1970.
The remaining legal psychedelics (such as Salvia) have an elevated risk of bad experiences, making them unsuitable for research.
    Meditation:
Asian meditation tradition has had practitioners regularly accessing the spiritual domain for literally thousands of years.
Buddhist texts codify the process into a sequence of “stages” that a trainee needs to attain to reach enlightenment. In Buddhism, the spiritual domain is not actually the goal, but rather encounters with the spiritual domain are an inevitable consequence of the pursuit of enlightenment. Consequently, Buddhist texts have documented a surprising number of reliable characterizations of the spiritual domain.
The big advantage of meditation compared to the above options is that it can grant clear, controlled access to the spiritual domain. Though initial brushes with the domain by a novice meditator are often chaotic, focused formal meditation practice develops skill in accessing and mapping the individual parts of the unconscious mind that are working in the spiritual domain.
This skill has, over time, allowed adept meditators to establish and document a consensus on aspects of the spiritual domain that seem to be universal to all humans, as well as some capability to interpret less-universal spiritual domain artifacts resulting from specific mental states or experiences.
The main “downside” to a meditative approach to accessing the spiritual domain is that it is not fast or easy. For most people it takes 6 months to a year of daily practice to get to the later stages of a meditation practice that grant access the spiritual domain. It also doesn’t work if you are meditating just because someone told you to - you must be meditating because you want something from meditation to reach the spiritual domain. For these reasons, I list meditation as the least easily accessed route to the spiritual domain.
Many religions were founded when one or more people decided that something from the spiritual domain was so compelling it had to be part of the objective universe. Propagation of these beliefs is facilitated by the fact that intense states of prayer are neurologically similar to deep meditative states, and both have the property of enabling the practitioner to access the spiritual domain.
Those without prior experience of the spiritual domain beyond dreams may as part of a religious induction have their first profound contact with the spiritual domain and take that intense novel experience as proof of the correctness of the religion.
At their best, religions can be a shortcut for people to deeply experience the spiritual domain, which can be very healing. At their worst, religions can abuse the spiritual domain to manipulate and hurt people (cults are infamous for this).
While I can’t prove that the spiritual domain is only an artifact of my mind (neuroscience just isn't there yet), I also have no reason to think that the spiritual domain is more than an artifact of my mind. Nothing I’ve personally seen (and I've seen some wild things) in the spiritual domain is inexplicable with the “third version of the universe run by the unconscious mind” model. Thus, I take the null hypothesis and will continue to assume the spiritual domain is natural until I discover evidence to the contrary.
If you are interested in learning more about meditation and the spiritual domain, there are two books I would recommend:
    1. “The Science of Enlightenment” by Shinzen. This book goes into the various aspects of meditation practice, what has been studied, and what we can (and cannot) prove about meditation with scientific rigor. “The Science of Enlightenment” has several sections discussing the kinds of hallucinations that one encounters while exploring the spiritual domain.
    2. “The Mind Illuminated” by Culadasa. This book is the product of a neuroscientist separating the mythology of Buddhism from the learnings about meditation that Buddhists have built over the centuries and packaging those learnings into something readily consumed by western English-speaking persons.
Perhaps the greatest mistake in our modern pursuit of intellectual excellence has been the exclusion of the spiritual domain from that pursuit. I suspect that large-scale loss-of-access to the spiritual domain is responsible for much of the alarming uptick in mental health problems over the past few decades.

I had an OBE 30 years ago without even know what one was and was never able to induce one again! I have had three dozen lucid dreams since then but only that one OBE.
Random thoughts: I ended up right at the place I was thinking about when I was going to bed-- my mother's farmhouse kitchen. Holy COW was my vision/hearing upgraded! The florescent tube light above me sounded like a ballpeen hammer tapping and, sorry mom, but the kitchen was filthy-- the wallpaper covered in 80 years of cooking grease and dust, something I had never noticed before. On the table was a sheetcake in what I then realized was a decades-old sheet cake pan-- I could see every crease and wrinkle in the metal.
I knew I wasn't really there physically but decided to knock the cake off of the table to prove I had been there, if that was even possible. As soon as I had this thought, there was a knocking at the kitchen door that led to the walk-in pantry-- a door that had no lock and you could just open it. for some reason this terrified me and I ended up 15 miles away, back in bed at my apartment.
I've tried to replicate having an OBE ever since with ZERO luck, other than when I focused on seeing my friend states over in Colorado., again, with zero luck until the next day my boss sent me to Colorado for work just SIX blocks away from where my friend lived!
    Great video, thanks for sharing

I've had a recurring dream since I was a kid. I still have it a few times a month. It's where I am flying. And over the years I have learned to control it somewhat and can turn etc. I still have never landed...but I always start on the ground and then shoot up really fast and look down and smile at people who are shocked at what they just saw,. Then I just fly around a bit and know what is going on. Almost like I am somewhat conscious. But I never remember how it ends. But it's still a neat feeling. I wish I could do more and actually explore.
And on lucid dreaming, that's a rabbit hole I went down as well. If I sleep on my back, I have crazy lucid dreams. I always sleep on my side because some of the dreams are so intense that I knowingly try not to sleep on my back LOL. GREAT video!!!

Great video! I've got so many OBE stories but I'll keep this shortish. I've read all of Robert's books among others and have the full collection of the Gateway tapes although they never really worked for me. I've had multiple planned and unplanned OBEs. Your comment about it being more real than real is exactly how I describe the feeling to people who then tell me they have to take a call and I'm like wow I didn't hear your phone ring but yeah, it's a crazy thing to explore.
I've felt like I was at the edge of our galaxy looking in, I've been conscious of being on my bed barely able to move my thumb whilst also conscious of flying through space at incredible speed, like literally conscious in two places at the same time, an extreme mind f%*k. I've had someone reach through a wall and hold my ankle whilst meditating (I now think it might have been my astral me going Hey can you feel this? but only my physical memory survived. I've popped out of bed and ended up in the floor upright up to my waist whilst in a hotel. One of the most annoying ones was when I laid down and almost instantly understood exactly how to easily go out of my body and whoosh, I was out, but then my subconscious was like this is boring, this is normal and I whooshed right back in and IMMEDIATELY forgot the simple trick for getting out easily. I'm still pissed about that and it's been 25 years now. It was something to do with bringing my consciousness down to my belly but I've never achieved that again since.
It was fun stuff but I started to experience all sorts of odd phenomena in my day to day life and felt like I was living two lives with no one to talk to about it so I eventually dropped it. Good luck on your journey with it though.

Some of it seemed too out there for a physical explanation but I'm always open minded that technically this all happened in my mind as I have no objective evidence no matter how realer than real it felt. And when I woke up, I felt the certainty in my bones that it was real details. I texted my buddy, but I said all the new details as if I was telling him about them. At the end, he said I was right about every one of them and asked how I knew. I told him of my dream.
Years later, I asked him what he thought about that weird event and he claimed to have no memory of it.

I couldn't move as it slowly tried dragging me by my leg out of my bed. I tried screaming for help, but it only came out as a forced whisper. Super fun! As for what you went through, your experience sounds amazing. Are we all collectively dreaming? Are you the only one dreaming and I'm part of your dream? Are we in a simulation? Are we floating heads in a jar somewhere? We're amazing at pattern recognition, but when we can't understand what we see, we automatically have this strong impulse to come up with an answer for it. Nothing wrong with saying, 'this insane thing definitely happened to me, and I have no rational explanation for it'. Not as fun to say that though lol.

The fact that it would be extremely easy to verify whether an actual out-of-body experience has happened, or if the person was just hallucinating (like, put a piece of paper with some words in it on top of a shelf, and have someone attempt to read it through an out-of-body experience), and yet no one has ever successfully done this with positive results, seems to me a pretty good indicator that its just a weird kind of self-induced hallucination. You can still reasonably, I think, refer to said hallucinations as an "out-of-body experience", I mean that's what you're experiencing. But there's no evidence that your consciousness has actually left your body (it just tricks itself into thinking it has), nor is there any reason to think any such evidence will ever emerge.

I hope advances in neuroscience will be able to crack the code eventually. Exploration of non-physical "inner worlds" are pretty difficult to study in a lab (at least currently). Is it all just one big, shared hallucination--a misfiring of synapses? Or are we perhaps too limited in our understanding of what constitutes "real?" Is "real" what you can see, smell, touch, and replicate in a physical way? Are there other realities, where such laws do not apply? I suspect there are, but I can't prove it. I can only share my experience, and invite others to explore for themselves! Thanks for your comment. 🙂

Huh, everything up to the point just before the out-of-body experience you describe is so normal for me I thought it was just because I had a sleep disorder. Whenever I go to sleep, I always start awake multiple times as a reaction to the weird sensations I have before I finally manage it, and it's much easier for me to do that 'body asleep, mind awake' thing than to actually get my mind asleep, it tends to take an hour or two to get to the point where I don't remember just laying there. I'll go ahead and start trying it, and see what happens.
As for similar experiences, I've had plenty of dreams that seem like they just don't make sense if my mind is the only one involved in them. I haven't tried writing about it, so I don't have specifics.

What you might be describing is astral projection and not lucid dreaming. These two might be energetically similar however, astral projection comes with certain energetic dangers as well.
If you're interested in pursuing these travels further it might behoove you to protect yourself with energy meditation. Chakra meditation is a good place to start and could be very beneficial to your overall energy levels as well as protecting yourself from potential negative energy.
You already described someone in your living room so you might already have energetic visitors. It is important to treat them kindof like your thoughts. Don't react, simply acknowledge them and get a read on what their intentions are. You should be able to converse with them if you stay lucid.
You talk as if you're having a spiritual awakening and I'm not surprised UA-cam didn't recommend your video to my feed as this kind of talk doesn't seem to circulate via the algorithm naturally. Perhaps this is for the best.

THE SAME WITH THE VOICE. Growing up I lived in a haunted haunted apartment with my siblings and mom. (My dad saddly committed suicide when I was young so he’s gone but “not” gone)
anywho. I would be sleeping and the bad ghosts and spirits/Interdimentional beings would start fuckin with me.
I’d go into sleep paralysis or me and my siblings (who all shared a room) would see the same shadow demon or full on bodied demon apparition.
However every now and then my dad would pop into reality and Yell to wake up. Or that I had to MOVE when I was stuck in paralysis.
Often times a literal spider would be walking by my face or near my head.
It was CRAZY. I could go into tons of stories about living there.
One incident was where we were playing hide and go seek and me and my little brother heard our mom calling for us under the table across the room in a whisper voice. (Mind you it’s 3am moms not there and my other older sister would be asleep in the main room.
So we all collectively started calling it the Will o’whisp or voice from the void when those things would happen.
UNLESS it was our dad though we knew it was evil and fucking with us. It’s weird but you get that like Decernment feeling when you deal with the supernatural daily.
And having to have dealt with my father suicide/Drug abuse and weird Goddly events happening that I would go more into detail about (But would be a literal book)
Some people are not restricted Spiritually. And those who Hear and see literal Entities like I do. And I assume you do. Know the consciousness isn’t limited to our beings.
I have heard the literal Gated of “heaven”and the orchestra of the angels.
The Cries of the banshee which went from singing to literal Death gurgling and sounds of Hellish wailing.
And whatever “god” exists has personally saved my life as well as my siblings by both warning us in vocal terms and in literal future sight through dreams.
Like de jaVu but it’s like literally being in a situation you LITERALLY know the outcome of instance like instance. Like your brains consciousness literally experienced the event and then you suddenly “that’s so raven” know the future.
(Sometimes this is YEARS ahead) and it’s trippy when you experience it.
We’re all actors in a play. And this is a learning experience.
We’re all so dedicated to imaginary existence here that we forgot we’re just chunks of the literal procession of “quantum” consciousness.
Individual pieces of the same over being.

I'm 38 and have been Lucid dreaming my whole life. it's fun. Over the years i've learned to even somewhat control or guide the dreams. but i've never experienced anything mysterious like this, though i've been in that floating feeling before many times.

This video is amazing, thank you for making it, edit, script and motiondesign wise. Bravo.
I've been studying this subject since i've read Monroe 3 books . I can not wrap my head around the subject fully, but i would gladly share my view on it
After reading Huxley's Doors of perception it appeared clearly to me that a reductionist materialist view on consciousness was short sighted. Instead our brain could be a necessary filter to a broader reality we experience daily, learning. Reading the baghavadgitta formidable poetry had led me on the path of transcending the ego. Thomas Campbell (physicst) & Christian Sundberg (that shares an amazing prelife memory) are enlightening on this direction. In switzerland ,there is a famous case that is being studied by scientific, the case of Nicolas Fraisse, studied by Dr. Sylvie Dethiollaz, although sadly her amazing book is only written in French : "Voyage aux confins de la conscience".
Now to congratulate you further more, for succeeding in going OBE, i keep trying myself, but i only went on the vibration phase once. I'll keep trying because i feel like this is a next step on our endless spiritual path.
    🙏

Just a couple of thoughts on things I've heard about out of body. Sometimes when falling asleep, my body would jerk and I would wake up. I was told this was my spirit trying to leave. I switched from falling asleep on my back to my side and it doesn't happen any more. So I don't think it was my spirit, just my legs.
And we are always paralyzed in our sleep, if it didn't happen, when we had a dream about running, our legs would be actually be moving, not very restful sleep if that happens. It's just when we wake up that the brain allows our limbs to move again, and it's when that doesn't happen upon waking that sleep paralysis occurs.
I really need to see proof that if someone does travel out of body and sees an event or observes a conversation, and this can be well documented that I will believe.
So I'm not saying you're cuckoo for believing. I have tried more than once to have an out of body but it never happened and so for now I remain a skeptic.

I can absolutely vouch for OBE’s as being more than what science wants to really tell us. I had an experience while I was awake, just simply laying in bed where these two loud vibrational frequencies started pulsating through my body, it felt honestly amazing, as I was in a lot of pain, the healing started in my lower back, and started moving its way up my spine, as these two energies worked their way up my spine they reached my forehead and when they did I left my body, and my consciousness projected to what appeared to be the pillars of creation, I could look around and just admire, and go no one is going to freakin believe this… once the experience was over, I had to research what happed to me, (kundalini awakening) but ultimately I found out the truth of who and what I am, Which is a spiritual being having a temporary physical experience.

Lucid dreams are something special, never was able to induce one but was always open. As for sleep paralysis. The insomnia I suffer has definitely been influenced by a single one I had. Bad joojoo.
As I understand, it was coming back to 'wake' while your body is still in "REM/shutdown mode".
I wouldn't want to induce it ever again. :| I\ll still to muchrooms for OOB experiences.

Klex- if you want to get lucid, a cool hack you might find helpful: reality checks. When you're awake, periodically throughout the day, look at your hands and ask yourself, "Am I dreaming right now?" When you make it a habit, it also becomes a habit in your dreams. You'll notice something is off about the environment, and BOOM--Lucid Dream activated! Keeping a dream journal also helps! 💛

Here's something to do if you ever learn to do out of body flights (if you don't, I will give you a simple method at the end).
Try to get to God and have a conversation with him.
If you've never had an out of body experience, and/or you're not getting results? Do the following before you go to sleep at night: 1) Write down the current date on the top of a 3 x 5 card (or a piece of paper), 2) Write down your intent to have an out of body experience, and where you would like to go. If you want to see something in the future you need to either leave the date off or add a date in the future where you would like to go. Our dreams are random out of body experiences, and we don't even know we are doing them.

Amy! You have SO many layers! Like an onion! Or Shrek! First, I pretty much always know when I am dreaming. Generally happy...mostly mundane. In the odd dream where I am under attack, my thinking is: "I don't have to put up with this garbage." Second, do I believe there is a spiritual realm that we can tap into if we're aware enough? Yep. I now have the book "SOMEWHERE IN TIME" originally titled "BID TIME RETURN'. If you HAVEN'T seen the movie...you need to fix that = ) Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour. Time travel by mind. Another way to explain it is that every moment past/present/future exists right now, and each is available to be shifted into and out of. QUESTION: I thought Morgan was supposed to lick off the lipstick?

What you are describing is know to us Witches as Astral Travel.
It's difficult to do on command, and takes a lot of practice, but once you get the hang of it, you will be amazed at what you learn.
Lucid dreams are also a lot of fun. I've been training myself to attempt flying any time I think I might be dreaming. No, I don't jump out a window, I just...lift off the ground. I am surprised at just how often I find myself in a dream, and can then take control of it. Been doing this since I was a kid. Probably why I never understood what the Nightmare On Elm Street movies were supposed to be so scary.

I think I had the beginnings of an OBE the other night after watching a SUPER long Thomas Cambell youtube that was complex theory discussions that I had to repeat over and over to understand lol....then listened to deep sleep meditation guide when odd sensation came about.....then my 5 year old woke me up ;-) (darn). Thanks.

@@AwkwardAnthems Will do ;-) btw the odd sensation included vibration accompanied with some sort of noise and then a rush of images in my mind (I guess) then suddenly I saw myself floating but not exactly what most people often see which is seeing themselves in bed though...I saw myself standing in front of my bedroom wall mirror leaning back as if I was releasing and beginning to float and my arms floating upward (like gravity was absent). So for sure 100% going to explore this further. This is c r a z y.....trying to make sense of it all lol, exciting stuff, scary too though ;-) thx a bunch.

OMFG!! So, I used to have that happen all the time, sleep paralysis I mean. But it wasn’t until I was living in Bethlehem with my girlfriend (who is now my best friend), that I learned that hallucinations were commonly experienced along with sleep paralysis.
When my father was visiting one time, it was the three of us in the living room, the night was winding down, we had probably been out to dinner, and I was napping hard on the couch. It almost always seemed to be a deep, deep nap that happened unintentionally when I experienced sleep paralysis. Although, more often in midday, but I haven’t experienced it in a long time.
Anyway, I was curled up in fetal position, with my feet against Jandee’s left thigh, while she and Pop chatted. Then she stopped talking, looked at me, realized that something was wrong, got up and moved up close to my face and asked me if something was wrong, and if I was ok. I distinctly remember giving her a thumbs up, even though I still hadn’t come out of it.
Eventually, after the harrowing struggle of trying desperately to take a breath because my autonomic nervous system relinquished control of my respiration to my already awake brain, which was still operating under the assumption that the autonomic nervous system was still doing the breathing, (I mean, it’s all in the brain, but you get me) which may have caused hypoxia, potentially the cause of the hallucination, I wrestled a breath into my lungs, which I suppose could be described as the sensation of what I imagine a soul rushing back into a body might feel like, only to learn that Jandee never thought anything was wrong, nor did she get up and come in closer to me, nor did I give her a thumbs up, despite being quite vivid in detail, as well as perfectly matching with the things that were happening for real. I was in my apartment, everyone was wearing the same clothes they were actually wearing, etc.
That shit was f’n crazy, but I’m pretty sure it was just a hallucination. Or, at least it didn’t feel to me like it was anything more than a hallucination, I should say.
This was an awesome topic, Amy. Thanks!!

Well, that was different, but expansion is always good. I used to have OOBE's, probably still do, just do not remember them. Other starting sensations may be vibration/tingling over the entire body, then a feeling of being poured out or sometimes "shifted/tilted" out of the body. Also there is a range of places in a spectrum, one side is like lucid dreaming where there is somewhat control of the content, the other side being fairly fixed, which involves "travel" to get to, accompanied by a whooshing sound and the flickering of different places until the destination is reached. Anyway good for you :)

    • @AwkwardAnthems
      @AwkwardAnthems  Рік тому

I've had the "shifted/tilted" experience before. Or sometimes, it's a feeling of "rolling out" instead of floating up.
