Thanks for the mention of the loss suffered by our friends in Carriacou and the southern Grenadines. S/Y Lacadienne. Our sign at Paradise beach club is just above and to the right of Indioko at 1:47 in your video.
It’s such a special place and so rarely hit by hurricanes. We are hearing that the Caribbean spirit of resilience has kicked into over drive and things are carefully being put back together but they need all the help we can give.
You honestly should. We are going to do some exploring while we are here and I think you’re going to love it. Cool vibe, amazing colours and some fun creative people too
It’s the windage underway that is the real issue with that. If we take a good wave on the deck, they would probably rip the stanchions off with the pressure. The battle continues 😂
No way!?! That’s crazy. We weren’t sure it would hold on more than a week. So devastated to hear stories from friends there about the level of damage and losses. If our sticker had been the worst of it, that would be a sacrifice we would be willing to take. Hope you got a selfie with it while you were there 😊
umm... right - I meant my other right! Love the diving - have to work on the surface support. At least the diving (other than the gas for the generator) is pretty inexpensive now that you have all the gear. Looking forward to more diving. Donate for a Dream
@@RedSeas Yeah its called " la fete de la musique" in France since 1982 because some french politicians thought it was not fair that only rich people can afford music shows and concerts...
WTF? Who lost you on the dive? Didn’t I recognize Andy and Nilla? We’re here in Moorea waiting for a window back to the Tuamotus. Just bought a new SMB and looking to get it wet.
Haha well it’s important to point out that we weren’t diving with any dive companies so I’m not going to mention any names but I will say that you are correct 😂 How is it over in moorea? Surely a dive off the reef is a good start for that SMB. We have visions of getting over there soon enough. Perhaps we will cross paths soon enough.
You cannot speak about Fakarava as a "traditional" touristic spot - that’s a bit misleading. You won't find hotel resorts, as people might understand as a touristic spot. In 2016 Fakarava became part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. So, there are strict regulations for tourism on land and in sea. But there are around twenty different places to stay on Fakarava - family owned guesthouses and pensions. Not the luxury as in a high-class hotel resort, but the warm, friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to experience the Tahitian way of life up close. Fakarava is a truly gem, so tourists are scuba divers and/or guests, who seek pure relaxation in haven of peace and tranquility in one of the world's most beautiful landscapes, that nature has created. Here some information about the festival: This Music Festival took first place in 1982 in France and its overseas departments/countries. This festival is celebrated around the world every 21 June, the symbol of the first day of summer. So, French-Polynesia celebrates this event on all islands/atolls. Next day Fakarava goes back to its kind of "Robinson" life and tranquility and peace of being a Biosphere Reserve. Greetings from Moorea 🌴 🏖 😎 🇵🇫 🇫🇷 🇪🇺 Monika PS: We have friends on Fakarava, always love to visit this magnificant place. At the moment our friends' kids are visiting Moorea, just next door to our house.😃
It’s been fun exploring such a cool place. I think we just got the impression that Fakarava was more “set up” to receive people than many of the other atols we have visited. In our books that makes it more touristic than say tahanea 😀 still, you’re right it’s super peaceful, easy going and no one should expect a Hilton hotel to stay in that’s for sure 😂 The festival was a blast. Great to see everyone letting their hair down and having a fun night. We tried to capture a bit of the feel of things without intruding on anyone’s fun. The music performances were so good. Some real talents here. Fun to hear you have a friend swap going on. I’m sure they love seeing moorea for a change of pace and landscape but I can imagine returning to Fakarava feels like a welcome home that everyone should experience some time.
Unfortunately that was kind of our plan but the exploding traveller car and the jammed clutch meant we weren’t really able to achieve a heave to and in that level of swell it would have made things quite uncomfortable. I suppose we were still hoping to reach our destination in time for the current to allow entry too but sailing to a schedule is never a good idea
High tide is for newbies, you both are Low tide e experienced sailer. 🥺, that’s for If you don’t scrape the keels you are not a proper sailor..I’ve been told 😂
You guys never catch anything nice to eat. It’s the bait you are using. Nona the sailing channel has fought so much tasty fish to eat. Go see how they do it.
Well I mean we have not done badly. I think the Tuamotus honestly don’t have as many large fish to catch as in our crossings. Very few boats catch anything underway in this part of the world. Guess the sharks get to it before we can reel it in. 😜
Wow! Community vibes galore!
It was a really fun little village and so cool to get to hang out with everyone too
Not disappointed at all with this dive, just make the underwater diving longer. I love to see.
We will do our best to keep it interesting. Might turn into a long music video otherwise 😊 🫧

What more diving? You are spoiling us 👍🏼🥰
So much diving coming up. Hang tight.
What a dive! Hard to forget an experience like that. ;)
Too right. Love it when you can surface from a dive and “flag down the nearest cab” to get a lift back to the dinghy. 😂 😥
Wow, you found paradise, makes it all worth it. 😎
Absolutely it does. It’s amazing how beautiful it is here.
Good to see you guys enjoying your boat again!
Yeah, we can’t stop smiling. It’s been a tough couple of months b it to be free and roaming the oceans again feels great!
What a beautiful place! I can't wait to see the rest of your adventures here.
It really is just stunning. We will keep sharing the adventure so long as people enjoy watching it. Every Sunday. Tell a friend. 😜
An other great video.
Now I have to put this place on my bucket list.
You honestly should. We are going to do some exploring while we are here and I think you’re going to love it. Cool vibe, amazing colours and some fun creative people too
Thank you. More diving please.
Don’t worry! We literally just surfaced from one of the best dives ever!! Sit tight
Another great video, guys. Thanks!
Cheers. Glad you enjoyed it. Nice to stretch our sailing legs a little.
Lovely video! One day...
Hopefully not too far away!
Bri scrubs up nice. Iain turns into James Bond again.. Bri you are a lucky girl you fought Ian in your net…👍🏼😎
She doesn’t know how lucky she is!!
ENJOY THE DIVING ! GREAT VIDEO !
We can’t wait! was nice to get a solid sail in too. So much diving to come. We will have to get warmed up
Great episode !!
Cheers! Thanks for sharing it. We are so close to 10k subs now, it’s almost painful to watch.
making the most of that dive compressor
You bet we are!
Great video as usual! My friend Tore and his family WA’d me to let me know they met you in Fakarava, what a small world
No way! That’s so cool. We literally just got home from a fantastic evening with them on their boat. What cool people you hang out with! 😎 🤘
G eat the hard paddle boat. After you finish using just strap them to the side on the safety lines. Simple no fuss and out the way when your done.

Just a tac = 1 tak 🤪 📌
Just a cheeky tax…or two…or three
I was pleased to see that your sticker was still on the umbrella on Mopion Island 3 weeks ago -- Not sure if the umbrella is still there after Beryl.

@@RedSeas Sadly, I didn't take a photo since I figured that if it lasted for 2 years already it would be around for many more.
You can serve lemonade from that half in and half out position 😂

I’m not sure what to call it. Perhaps a Brioni Dive like a Brioni Hike?
Was the music night on June 21st?
Yeah! It was a mid summer festival across all the french territories I think

The wiggle dance?
