Hi everyone I'm back with part 2. I hope that you have managed to follow along and complete part 1 of your pocket shawl and are now able to follow along with this tutorial. I crochet step by step each part so that you can complete the main body of the project and add those much needed pockets to either side. I hope you all enjoy it and end up with some beautiful crocheted pocket shawls for the cold days.

I just made this in peacock blue/green. I also made backward stitch as edging all round shawl and top edge of pockets. It's really beautiful. Thank-you.

Do you have any images of the completed shawl on someone? I’m debating whether I need to make mine a little wider and it would be good reference to see someone in it. It’s a beautiful shawl and I’m enjoying the pattern. THANKS!

Honestly I would add more rows to make it wider. That’s what I’m doing because with the amount there it’s like the size of a really wide scarf.
This was my first attempt to crochet...thank you for making it so enjoyable to follow your instructions. My finished pocket shawl looks great. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am having a hard time figuring out which yarn piece is the back bar. I love this pattern and picking up the right yarn piece is important.
Hi I have actually made a clearer video more recently than this trying to explain the back bar better if that helps. Let me know if not I can always try to explain a little better.

Hello beautiful work .. I'm confused with what you call back bar
Hi yes I am really sorry about this because these videos were filmed before I got my better camera so the quality is difficult to see. It is basically the back bump of the treble crochet when you look at the back of the stitch. I hope this helps if not you can always try working half trebles and working into the back loop to get the same sort of look or if not working rows of treble crochet will work in the same way.

Hi yes sorry the video of sewing on the pocket is quite quick. You can use any stitch really that you are comfortable with sewing I just used a simple running stitch all the way around for mine. Hope this helps. Thank you so much for watching.
