Case in point Patrick Mahomes during Baltimore game was Game Changer in the first half taking limited risk pushing the ball down the field. Then in 2nd half realized Raven can only win if I mess up. He switched into Game Manager mode until that last play when he said NOW I need go close this and flash back to Game Changer.
Brock has had the luxury of living more in the Game Manager mode, exposing his Game Changer abilities in flashes. This is because the 49ers are so talented especially with McCaffery back there.
Cam is right though. Brock is not top 5 on his team in talent. McCaffery, Deebo, Aiyuk, Bosa and Ward are all better players and we probably could find 1 or 2 more.
I don't say that to take anything away from Brock. In football we need to be who we need to be. Brock needs to Game Manage a bit more than many QBs because his defense gives him short fields and sometimes even points. You do what you need to do.
