My friend's son shaved off both his eyebrows when he was about 8 and he didn't have eyebrows again until almost 5 years later.

This reminds me. Back in 1978, I was 6 years old, my dad got into a crash that totaled our brandnew Ford Granada (you have a big motor / hood in front of you). He was coming home at night from Brussels from a big soccer game and a car was driving against traffic and crashed into our car head-on at full speed. Those are major roads in Brussels with high-speed traffic. Long story short, all he had was a gash that went over his eyebrow. They sutured it and no, no hair was removed. But to this day, the hair grows fine, in the proper way, but that scar is super visible. I guess we'll call it amazing luck that that was all he had. He's a healthy 77 today. Thank God! I learned to drive with our old Ford Granada (different car), it was over 12 years old and it was a "machine", a "beast" of a thing, I literally drowned in its size. But I was safe! Later on when I got my first little car for work, I got a Ford Fiesta, crashed it, unfortunately (not my fault) and got a disability for life. No. Seriously. I have dashboard injury, both legs (chondromalacia o/t patella) + chronic/severe CRPS both legs. There is no question in my mind that the size of the vehicle plays a major role in the injuries you get stuck with.
I was an emo kid with the big hairsprayed spikes at the back and the straightened fringe covering my face. Leaned backwards once and didn't know there was a candle behind me. All the spikes went up with a whoosh, but my hair itself wasn't burnt, just the hairspray on it 😅 that shit definitely stays flammable
I have Alopecia Universalis from 32 years ago. My head hair & eyebrows grew back white. I cannot blow dry my hair, which is now to my waist. I have tiny white eyelashes but VERY little body hair. I take 150000micrograms of Biotin every night plus 200micrograms every night. My hair still periodically falls out, not bald but thinning. I also suffer mild vitiligo, mainly on my forearms. My GP said they are connected.

Fyi, that wasn't a KISS video clip, but rather a tribute band called Hairball ( they do various 80's artist tribute covers in concert). The singer portraying Paul Stanley does a wonderful job and that was his actual hair that caught fire while he continued to play because he is a professional.

The moral of the story, just leave your body and face alone!!! Eat well and balanced, be physically active, do the most basic skincare ever with sun protection, keep your stress down by doing relaxing stuff, look at yourself in the mirror and say out loud how amazing and beautiful you are and everything is going to be fine 😊

Yes!! All except the part about the sun. Please understand the sun gives you life. It keeps you and everything else on the planet alive. Sunblock has a cancer warner on. Sunscreen is blocking your skin from taking in what it needs. Sunblock is what causes cancer amongst other things but def. not the sun. Otherwise all wildlife would be riddled with cancer and there would be a mass die off. Plus people with more melanin that live in sunny places would all be dead. People that have less melanin could never live in these regions due to shortened life expectancy. This protest against the sun needs to stop. You've been duped. Plus sunscreen literally has to be applied every 2 hours .. or it's not effective. Do you reapply makeup every two hours? No... I rest my case.

I thought JPS hair loss was actually caused by wigs and extensions. I have a cousin who has had Alopecia since she was about nine, and has just been rolling with it for the past 20 years. JPS has always given me bad vibes.

I'm not a expert, but sunlight have nothing to with hair, we Africans are are exposed to sun, very hot weather, some farm under the the sun manually, infant let me say we practically work under the sun. And it has never course hair loss, unless is genetic or medical.
According to google, yes it does. 😊 great question, I’ve never thought about it but it makes sense that it would cause some type of damage. I wonder y no company has come out with a sunscreen for hair 🤔
Over time sunlight bleaches out your hair and makes it dry and brittle. It takes a while though, like an hour a day plus.

Eyebrows DO NOT come back more coarse. It appears more coarse initially because the end is blunt.
