Waste Management Rear Loader in Incline Village, NV

- The northeastern corner of Lake Tahoe is home to a small, but unique Waste Management yard. The vast majority of their residential work is still done manually due to many residents opting to house their refuse in bear-proof sheds. Manual/semi auto from WM is almost nonexistent down in SoCal, so that plus an older pre-emission diesel rear loader made this quite cool in my opinion. I’ve never seen a McNeilus blade run this fast at idle either so that was also quite interesting.
Big thanks to the friendly driver! Enjoy the video.

Definitely one of the greatest sounding refuse trucks I’ve ever heard!

I’m glad you guys were able to catch this, we tried in January and the driver was definitely not cool with it haha. Love the classic logo too! Nice job!

Haha yeah, figured we might as well try our luck and it worked out. Thanks!
love the sound of this truck, sounds like from the '07ish area. i guess they can bypass CA emissions by having this truck registered under nevada, plus it being in such a remote location that no one really cares to check
It actually never leaves Nevada, so in no way is it regulated by CARB.
@@WasteManTony yeah I would think, good thing it isn't though cause it def would've been pulled out of service if it was just less than a mile to the west
Oh yah this is what I’ve been waiting years for a incline village video
