Quarrel - Dolf de Kinkelder - performed by Duo Grenadil - for 2 bass clarinets. Somewhere in the duet both think that the other one is making a mistake. They get irritated and start a fight (quarrel). After a few attempts of one of the players they reconcile, and proceed peacefully. This is a duet from the suite Nota Bene! a kleptomaniac carousel: 6 clarinet duets in which bass clarinet, Bb clarinet ánd Eb clarinet appear. The other 5 duets are: Blues (also for 2 bass clarinets), Gypsy (for bass clarinet & Bb clarinet), Bagpipe and Waltz (both for 2 Bb clarinets), and Circus (for Eb clarinet & Bb clarinet).
