I'm new to the sax scene, but I can recognize some solid sound. Anyone know what style of ligature they're using? Don't think I've ever seen a string/paracord ligature before.

I'm disappointed that UA-cam took almost three and a half years to show me this video. What a treat. Beautifully played! What are the blue and red ligatures with the strings coming out? Some kind of pick up?

I personally think that gypsy and blues would have sounded better with an alto clarinet, but this still sounds good!

Could also be played with alto & tenor saxophones, sounding an octave lower, perhaps not as novel but certainly considerable given the relative rarity of the sopranino instrument. Preferable with the smaller horns, but doable 8vbasso. Agreed? Disagreed?
