    I cannot stop watching her. I'm not saying I want to be just like her cause I would have to go through the struggles she wen through. But I sure want access to His leave have and mercy as she has. Because of her I am choosing to wait for him.

    Recently I've been in a place of some serious confusion... It's like there are two people arguing in my head.
    One is regretful for committing sins daily, the other assures me that Jesus loves me. But, I might end up in hell if i don't stop. But I can't stop. But, is having that attitude of lethargy toward my sin... a sin? OR, is the thought that my sins are strong enough to rip me away from God offensive to God? And, if so, then... where's the danger? Where's the reason to "Live right" and "Be Holy"? I mean, I have this feeling as a christian that I can't shake. I never feel like I'm taking God seriously enough. Yes, I know that Jesus loves me, but at the same time, I don't want to take it for granted, and go to hell because I didn't do enough. AND EVEN JUST THEN when I typed that, I felt afraid that I was disrespecting or belittling the power of God, as if his blood didn't cover my sins. But, if i have too much reliance on His love, I feel like I'm using it as a get out of jail free card. How Guilty should I feel? Where is the line between fearing God's Judgement and being afraid that I'm not good enough?
    It's all so confusing, and I'm finding it impossible to find the "RIGHT WAY" To do this... I need help, but all I ever get is a confusing mixture of both. I need to know WHICH ONE is the right way... Because, if it is up to me to choose, and I pick the wrong one, then it's my SOUL at stake. I just don't know what to do...

      Hi Riku, I hope that I can offer some words of clarity that will help. As long as we are alive on this side of eternity, we will always struggle with something. Does this give us license to sin? No. What it means is that as long as we are human beings, we have a fallen nature (not perfect) and it is possible for us to sin. The rub comes for Christians with wrestling (That is us wrestling against things that lead us to choose sin.). It is important to know that we very well can fall into sin but it is important to continue to get back up, keep asking for God's forgiveness and help to overcome and not be overcome by the power of sin to the point that we give up. The reasons for living holy is to fulfill the requirement of God to be holy. As His people, we must reflect His image. Holiness means being unlike anything earthly so that it is easy to tell to Whom you belong. What is more, living a life of holiness has the benefit of allowing the empowering presence of God to reside within you to allow you the strength necessary to combat any earthly or evil force. Without a holy life, it is that much harder to turn away from sin. This doesn't mean that it's a walk in the park but built habits make anything that much easier when they are rightly assembled. God knows that we will fall but He gave us a lifeline on Calvary to counteract the fall. He knows that we have areas of confusion and lack of clarity about what is "right", etc. Part of that is due to the presence of sin, which only allows us to see in part and so there are two things I wish to say about this. First, know that God understands what we believe and will help us in unbelief. Next, and more important, the Holy Spirit, is not only available to endow us with the kind of discernment we need to make sure distinction between what is and is nor godly or right and what isn't, He also adds to our prayers with groans and utterances with those things we lack so that they are complete when they go to God the Father. So as long as we keep going back to God and do what we can to separate ourselves from the things that cause us to fall, there is hope for us. It is not impossible simply because we struggle with it. If that were true, Jesus would never have gone to Calvary. What sends people to hell is an absence of Christ in them, not the total absence of sin. It is through Christ that we justified in the eyes of God. So at all costs, maintain your connection to Him because that is what God will be looking for when we stand before His judgment bar to learn about where we will spend eternity. Be encouraged. There are MANY reasons to stay the course and know that God has got whatever you don't have. As long as you stick with Him, you'll be fine. ~

    "They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..." Revelation 12:11.
    She was making the point that her good works could not wipe out her sin. I don't think she was trying to broadcast them.

    I think you are confused. Janette..ikz isn't broadcasting all the good works she is doing for her own gratification , nor is she confessing her sins to the world through UA-cam. If you don't mind my asking, where in the Bible does it say not to tell of the good works you do?

    what is your take on the Hebrew Isrealites?

  • @AdonaiPraise
    @AdonaiPraise 11 років тому

    The bible says not to broadcast the good works you do. All this new age "confess your sins to the world through youtube" is false doctrine.
