- Here is a small compilation of the Group C monsters at Le Mans Classic 2022 ! I took some various shots of the two qualifying session and the race on Saturday morning. I hope you will love the sound of those cars as I do ! Enjoy !

They were great days my friend. Went to my first six hours ,at Silverstone 1976 . Jaqui iyxi and Ronnie Peterson raced. Was hooked ever since.
Everyone talking about the V12 Jags but the rev urgency in the 905 and the XJR14 are something else.🔥
Man I imagine what ot was like to hear these Group C cars in their heyday! I gotta make it out to France one day JUST so I can witness Le Mans once in my lifetime.

My top 5 group c race cars are Nissan R89C, Jaguar XJR8, Toyota 88C V, Mazda 787B and the Porsche 962C.
Always great to see them battling and roaring 🚙 💨

Excellent, cela me rappelle ma jeunesse (la dernière fois que j'y ai mis les pieds c'était en 1992 pour la 1re victoire Peugeot)... sauf qu'à l'époque il y avait largement moins de grillage et surement pas de barbelé. Affligeant de ce point de vue ce qu'est devenu ce circuit pour les spectateurs... c'est triste !
C'est sûr... Il y a un gros travail à faire de ce côté là je pense... En tout cas ravi d'avoir pu contribuer à vous rappeler quelques souvenirs 😉
Dans les hunaudières ça va il y a juste un grillage

@@LeMansVidz Oui, et Tom Walkinshaw avait privilégié une architecture intérieure assez simple mais fiable pour ce moteur, mais quel bestiau...

Those v12 jags man ..they sound way better at full speed going down the mulsanne straight..especially when the straight had no chicanes

@@LeMansVidz I don't know about that man first of all I'm in the states and cars like these pretty much do not exist to us ..at least in Europe they display and drive them at the Goodwood festival of speed and in France at circuit de la sarthe..I only watched the old video on UA-cam 12 or 14 years old of the 1988 lemans and you can see and hear these cars at the end of the video @ 4:20 not this video but the 1988 lemans 24hrs mulsanne straight video ..they were chasing the 962 works porsche
@@dennismichealsm3786 Yep I know that video, the speed is really impressive ! It's a pity you can't see them in USA because there's some US chassis: I can think of the Budlight one, the beautiful Castrol XJR9. I don't know where they are kept nowadays

@@dennismichealsm3786 You get to see the rotaries (Mazda 767b, 787b, rx92p, rx7 imsa gto) way more than us in Europe. We had to wait 10 years to see the 787B back at le Mans ! 😆
