Little problem with your sentence: Alto Adige falls on the southern side of the Alps so totally contained within Italy and the Mediterranean

@@davidetoffoletto9981 Why should all southern parts of the Alps automatically belong to Italy? How do you come up with such nonsense?

@@namenlos40 because they are geographically part of the Italian peninsula. And because the german speaking population never existed there and only arrived during the middle ages in search of better weather

@@davidetoffoletto9981 "because they are geographically part of the Italian peninsula." And Portugal should be Spain?
"the german speaking population never existed there and oly arrived during the middle ages"
Then the german speaking population existed there since the middle ages!

@@namenlos40 bad example, Portugal and Spain share no natural border and there is no river or mountain chain that separate the two nations. Instead the Italian peninsula is totally isolated from the rest of the continent. It's not a case the Italian Switzerland Cantun Ticino is collegated to the rest of the coutry by the longest tunnel in the world the Gottard tunnel. The Swiss know perfectly this and they have to run kilometres under the mountains to reach the Italian speaking park of their country, part of the souther side of the Alps
