Love Ian Moore. First saw him at San Jacinto College Central Auditorium.

If you love progressive blues check out Ian's first album! It is a stunning performance from Ian's song writing and monster guitar to Michael Villegas killing it on drums. I saw them right after this performance and was blown away. I'm no shill just a huge fan is all and it's in the top 10 albums of my life.

I agree. Here it is 30 years later and I still love that album today as much as I did then. It is one of the few albums
I never get tired of listening to, it is just that damn good !

Better even---the Live from Austin CD, which has many of the songs on his first release but live, which is really where he has always shone. True artist, in all senses of the word.

Live From Austin is up there with Frampton Comes Alive, Waiting for Columbus, or Live at the Fillmore.

This is back when he had his best guitar tone, playing his tele/strat with hotrails bridge pickup through blackface fender amps. Sweet sound.

It was a Matchless Clubman amp, NOT a Fender amp. They weren't Hot Rails either. They were possibly Joe Barden pickups that looked like rails. In this video they were neither. You're welcome!

Basically this was back when he was a badass !!! ......then he went to that Lossy Coils shit.

@@lpmanbrown6445 the amp head is clear,y shown in the video. Fender Super Reverbs are combo amps.

@@blackberryjamchicago actually saw Ian twice during this time (1993/94)in Raleigh nc.met him and yes he had matchless but also a 65 fender super reverb combo with a Ibanez ts 9 (tube screamer)
And he was sure the lead pu. was a dimarzio fast track.

Ok, but I can barely here the audio, everything is maxed out. and it is just barely coming through. Somebody should bring the levels up on this vid, the repost it

rbagel55 - My thoughts too. I am looking at boosting the volumes up myself. I actually have the FULL concert of this from VHS which I put onto DVD. This concert is only about HALF the gig. The full concert is 105 minutes. My copy is good volume wise, but the quality of the video, although very watchable, needs an upgrade in these days and times. Would be nice to get the FULL concert in this visual quality
