I love it that Munky STILL to this day whips out the OLD SKOOL Ibanez Universe (from the self titled & peachy days) on very, very, special occasions!!!
The concert of Woodstock 1999 could have been so much better. You know, if it didn't get totally out of control. I was like 7 or 8 at the time, didnt even hear of it until a month ago. Never commercialize Woodstock, is the valueable lesson we learned here.
oh and another thing, if you get a chance to see Brian in concert, jump on it. I saw him two days ago in Dallas and it was the best concert I've ever been to. He's a pure natural and filled with love. It was like watching a dear friend of mine on stage, no separation at all and purely spiritual. I'm too old to be jumping in the pit though, lololol the pit kind of scared me haha otherwise, fantastic. I'm still pumped up from it.
GO!...OMG i so love this breakdown. Good old memories, since head left the band, korn isn't the same anymore. I don't say they are not as good as before, but they change too much their style
woodstock 99 was for the 90s generation of kids, just like woodstock 69 was for it's own generation kids in the 90s were pissed off for not being understood and being depressed, and the bands at 99 are all for that group of kids
i would of done anything to go to woodstock 99, great bands ther, KoRn, Bush, ROCP, Bestie boys, offspring (who i just saw live a few weeks ago =D) the only thing better then woodstock 99 WOODSTOCK 69!! damn i wish i could of gone to both lol
They did change significantly. It's obvious that a great deal of what made Korn what they were was Brian. It actually saddened me when I listened to "see you on the other side" and "untitled". So much was different - but still good!! I think they still have a great deal of life in'em.
The lyrics make me cry. Been there. :*( I LOVE the music itself, though. I'm against what Korn stands for but props to them for inventing a new sound. Dang. Gotta love nu metal.
After LimpBizkit....I knew Korn was going to be much more than I could handle!! I had a hard time getting out of the GIANT Mosh pit!!!! By the time this song was over I got away from the stage but still swimming in people all the way back. I could see the people all thrashing their heads at the break of this song....what a sight!!!
Wow, how cool, man wish i was there.. me and the other millions. Couldnt help myself reading the comments, rhcp ar kewl, if it wasnt for flea, Fieldy wouldnt play like he is now. but thoose are different genres of music.. and korns genre rocks ;]
God Damn that fucking mic!!! I can't guess how many "FUCK" he said during those 10 seconds! At 0:48 is fucking hilarious! He had just said "I think u all know this fucking song" and BANG! " How many times have I... " WHAT?!?!??!?!? OPS ^^. DON'T WORRIE JONATHAN WE STILL FUCKING LOVE U!
it's really cool to see them at the beginning of their fame, you see a lot of bare skin where tattoos will come later, also the "normal" hair of some of 'em. but eventhough they changed fisically their sound never really changed. love the band
yeah the original woodstock was 3 days of peace love and music, and just that, no security and nothing, it most likely will not ever happen again, and i would be surprised if it did
Yeah well I need to come over all the way from holland so it will take some time. and my school starts in 2 weeks so I got an excuse to skip my classes
You cant really say that because they changed a lot over the years so did their style of play so of course something like this witch is around the time they released follow the leader would sound very close to the studio sound
I will never forget woodstock 99. 👌
I love it that Munky STILL to this day whips out the OLD SKOOL Ibanez Universe (from the self titled & peachy days) on very, very, special occasions!!!

@h0f0sh0 yeah, noticed that too. he did the same thing a few more times in this concert, like in "good god" and maybe other songs.

The lyrics make me cry. Been there. :*(
I LOVE the music itself, though. I'm against what Korn stands for but props to them for inventing a new sound. Dang. Gotta love nu metal.
@ThePspdog98 Nope. The tattos Fred has done for korn is on Fieldys body :)

DON'T WORRIE JONATHAN WE STILL FUCKING LOVE U!
Correct.
I'm low on sleep and just realized how odd it is that one day Jonathan decided to start wearing kilts onstage. Bold choice.
goooo
@satinsguard VERY well said. Kudos.
it's really cool to see them at the beginning of their fame, you see a lot of bare skin where tattoos will come later, also the "normal" hair of some of 'em. but eventhough they changed fisically their sound never really changed. love the band
