Very good bro today frist time i doing this but i am not sucess but i will try
Al cop combination of aluminum and copper rod, am I correct sir? Thank you.
The popups in your video are very annoying. Otherwise, a good video.
Thank you very much for showing that, now I know how to do it.
Thank for this video now am I doing it for my self
Bro just failed to join those two today im so bummed i could not finish my job today because of 1 joint. Its not as easy as it looks guys
I was once at an industrial show where a guy was demonstrating a magical solder that he claimed would make a great joint to aluminum. He was demonstrating by soldering a piece of aluminum to a piece of brass, and he used no preparation of the surfaces. The solder flowed very nicely and made a beautifully filleted joint to both metals. He gave me the soldered sample and had me push hard on the piece so I would know the joint was strong. I took the sample back to my office and put it in my desk drawer, but I didn't buy any of the solder. After some years of just having the sample sitting there in the drawer in a benign office environment, I picked the sample up one day and the aluminum popped apart from the brass when I barely applied any pressure at all! I hope your material works better than his.

Too much heat melt aluminium
Keep it up guys... This is very educative

Sorry to say the main thing you didn't saying .... Iam ac mecanic I joined copper and aluminum pipe in American freeze.. Main thing ia flux.. And heat temperature. Copper must be high and aluminum must be low. Ok
yes, well said. important to move the heat to the copper so as not to melt the aluminum
Dude on right is 100% sales and 0% field experience
People on the field depend on his 100% sales experience.
@@JonnyRoboto that makes 0% sense..

Wouldn't flow at all for me, it wouldn't even stick to the aluminum tube, even with added aluminum flux, and cleaning with acetone prior to heating
Problem with this i am finding out is if there is oil in the lines and its say a vertical pipe and its steadily running that joint is impossible to not ha e oil leach through thw Al- cop. Not forgiving at all with contamination! Fyi
What protection do you recommend in this procedure in a residential freezer? The plastic liner can melt if too much heat is applied.
Look into the Solderweld Hot block! That should help your scenario.

Also we released the new Flame Resistant Blanket that can help out dramatically i this scenario
Good day şir what kind of rod uşe to braze alluminum and copper, thank you
Al-Cop Braze from SolderWeld. Can be purchased through Jackson Systems
Don't copper and aluminum galvanically corrode each other?
Where can we buy the AL COP BRAZE
jacksonsystems.com/product/solderweld-hvac-15-all-in-one-brazing-pack/ -- There are other pack options as well on there.
can you send the name of the tool thanks
which tool are you refering to? the tube expander or the Rod he is using? Al-Cop Braze from SolderWeld
Thank you so much for sharing this video my friend. Plss take care
Where can buy that aluminum rod
thank you brothers teachers.❤❤

Should use nitrogen when braze aluminum to aluminum? Thanks
Nitrogen is usually required when brazing copper-to-copper joints because when using 15% braze rod, much higher temperatures are required, around 1500⁰f-1700⁰f. And at that high of a temperature the inside of the piping has a tendency of building up ash and black scaling on the inside wall.. And nitrogen eliminates this scaling. But when using solder or Al-cop, a much lower temperature is required, hence why he's using map-gas, so the inner piping walls don't scale up and nitrogen isn't required. If that makes sense
Had you pulled off the copper polish before this much heat would not be required.
Great
How to prevent corrosion on the joints? Wd40, vaseline? Silicone grease?
which chemical/liquid did you check for the leakage?
Soap bubble solution.. Its what we always use in the field to check for leaks in the field. AKA the HVAC/R industry
